Responding to the OP SHS political future.............. She grew up in politics. That is huge. Now, Gov. of Arkansas. Not sure of her private sector background. I would love to see the enemy of this nation call her looks out, and they will because they wear hypocrisy on their sleeve.

Lord, please help Gov. Sanders lead the State of Arkansas to find the name of Jesus. Lift her up to be successful in increasing individual freedom for ALL in the state. Amen

At this point I am 100% DeSantis and there isn't even a close second. I would love to see SHS on the ticket with him, but I am not sure two candidates from the South would bring in the independents.

I met her at Ouchita Baptist University in Arkadelphia when visiting a friend there in the 90s and doing a campus visit. We had significant overlap in our friend groups.

She was quiet, unassuming, soft-spoken, and kind. He father was the sitting governor of Arkansas at the time, and she did not act like she was owed anything for being the governors daughter.

It's quite something to think about how far she has come. She will do great things in Arkansas. They are blessed to have her as Governor.

One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen was some kind of White House Correspondence dinner or something a few years back where SHS was a guest on the panel. The piece of trash speakers (I think one was a female comedian) mercilessly mocked her, called her ugly, made fun of her clothes, just awful, while all the guests roared with laughter and sat in complete approval. And even though she looked extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed, she took it like a champ and never once complained. I will always truly admire her after that.

She was also kicked out of restaurants for merely having been a part of Trump's administration.

Remember when the rhetoric by the left resulted in numerous death threats against her - and the Secret Service took the unprecedented step of having to protect her?

I don't like quitters who jump for no real reason when the job isn't finished

Those are some grade A crap comparisons. Palin doesn't move the needle for anyone, not even in her home state, unlike SHS. Haley is not liked by anyone under 40 and outside of the Romney group of Republicans.

I am also not following the quitters and no reason line. This is the Vice President of the United States and ample reason to drop whatever you are doing and command the post.

I disagree. She moved her state and I think she would bring the holdover MAGA people with her. Which would also be extremely entertaining for her to jump to DeSantis and dump Trump.

She didn't move her state, she's the daughter of a previous governor of the same state.

Agree about the MAGA people because they only care about loyalty to Trump and nothing else. But that's not enough of the republican electorate anymore.

I agree with letting her finish her term as governor before promoting her to top of the ticket.
Then, let's evaluate her performance as governor and not simply dismiss a worthy candidate simply because she is part of the political oligarchy.
Actually, I'm not sure her family fits the definition of oligarchy (I think of an oligarchy as generations of influence, ala the Kennedy or Bush families.)
Her experience as governor will certainly give her a record to run, apart from her father's name and her service in the Trump administration. I expect she will be successful as governor.
Also, I just learned her father graduated from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. I knew he was a preacher, didn't know he had the benefit of being in Texas!

because McCain was basically forced to pick Palin even though he detested her - BECAUSE she moved the people of the right wing. she was a rock star more so than SHS even though I like SHS more and believe SHS possesses real gravitas (unlike Palin)

my point is that we should as conservatives want experienced personnel leading the country. not people who are jumping as fast as they can from one job to the next in their insane ambition to be President
