Police found his DNA at the crime scene and traced it through a genealogy website to some of his relatives. I assume they then matched that info to registration of the Hyundai car and they had their suspect.

After that was probably when they started tracking his cell phone and gathered the info showing he was in town at the time of the murders and his phone pinged towers in the same area as the victims for weeks before the murder.

I haven't been paying attention to this case, but are these murders his only ones? Or have they traced him back to older ones too?

There have been no official statements regarding his involvement in anything but these killings.

Not sure, I just see people saying his account was deleted last night and the other handles in question were suspended instead of deleted. So, people are saying it can't be him as someone with his login would've physically had to delete it, while BK was already in custody. I guess he could've given instructions to his attorney or told his family to, but doubtful.

I think that user's posts are creepy, but never thought it had to be him. The posts were aggressive, but to be that aggressive and cavalier and arrogant about it, I feel like there'd be more telling things said snd more specifics.

Surely REDDIT can delete an account if they want to.

Well the difference might be that other accounts were suspended by reddit because they were unsure and being cautious, but if they KNEW this one was him they might have deleted it and not just suspended it.

I could see them wanting to erase that.

Or law enforcement may have asked them to.

I have no idea, no knowledge on this, and only occasionally use Reddit. But I don't really trust that big tech can't log in to any account they want to and do whatever they want.
