Will not know until he is back in Idaho and the affidavit released. Still probably will not know everything until the trial starts.

HAven't kept up with the case.
Was there a specific reason police started watching him? Was it based entirely on his cell phone pings in the area?

Apparently the user deleted their account, not suspended by Reddit like the others, so can't be him

that's the point though. the other handles in question were removed or suspended by Reddit. this one was apparently deleted by user. thought my other posts made that obvious, but guess notBluecat_Aggie94 said:
Surely REDDIT can delete an account if they want to.

Police found his DNA at the crime scene and traced it through a genealogy website to some of his relatives. I assume they then matched that info to registration of the Hyundai car and they had their suspect.
After that was probably when they started tracking his cell phone and gathered the info showing he was in town at the time of the murders and his phone pinged towers in the same area as the victims for weeks before the murder.
so, I kind of suck at reddit, where is the photo?zgolfz85 said:PA24 said:

How much self-reflecting do you do when you realize a ton of people think you could have stabbed 4 people to death based on your posting history/style?

Good point. But he needs counsel in Idaho to actually make that request. PA court won't have jurisdiction over him for very long.
I will be very curious to see how the police/FBI used open source genealogy to identify his DNA. And how close of a match it is. Barry Scheck must be salivating over that issue as well.

I don't have any problem with the DNA family-related searches. Don't hurt or kill anybody and you'll be fine.

Also a big concern of mine.Quote:
At a minimum, it should require the type of probable cause and warrant that obtaining a DNA swab from a suspect would. And no blanket searches of these databases allowed.
except that this is exactly how they will / do use itaggiehawg said:Also a big concern of mine.Quote:

Interesting! I had not thought about being able to track via that, makes sensePA24 said:
In the Reddit link it posted the evidence against him:
DNA found at the house.
Car in the video is his.
Bluetooth record from car speakers in the area of the crime.
It is like he did the crime and wanted to get caught. He is a doctorate student of criminology, such mistakes don't make sense.
if this was true, would that not mean he had his phone on him?PA24 said:
