He's probably saying that because serial killers are high IQ people. Not because he's a phd clown.

Right. I mean, if I have a male neighbor who owns a white elantra and that car disappears right after a white Elantra becomes a vehicle of interest, I'm friggin calling it in when I otherwise would never do that unless there were other suspicious issues with him

Good. Because this killer's name is Bryan.not hedge said:

sorry but that is not the legal definition of "insanity"Tony Franklins Other Shoe said:
So if this is the murderer, what do you think the plea will be? Guilty? If not, they will try to build up the insanity defense? They must have plenty of evidence tying him back to the area that should come out in short order unless it is small enough not to pollute the case, but killing 4 people has to have some threads all over and likely his DNA at site?

not to pile on here- but some more evidence this guy is hardly a MENSA candidate:Ellis Wyatt said:Yeah, but I can see someone thinking he's in the clear because he's a couple thousand miles away. But not getting rid of that car (if it was his) when everyone in the country knew that was what the police were looking for obviously is pretty stupid.

I really want to read that probable cause affidavit.

Why can't they just cut the red tape and get on with it
Idaho has the death penalty while PA has it but a moratorium in effect. But that's a reason to fight extradition inside the US.n_touch said:Sorry you are going to have to wait till next year for thattorrid said:DannyDuberstein said:

Any reason for him to fight extradition?
Pile on? I was speaking in generalities, not specifically about this guy. I know nothing about him other than what has been posted on this thread.LMCane said:not to pile on here- but some more evidence this guy is hardly a MENSA candidate:Ellis Wyatt said:Yeah, but I can see someone thinking he's in the clear because he's a couple thousand miles away. my point is that just because someone is in a PHD program doesn't make them high IQ.
and I would also bet there is no actual scientific correlation between homicidal murderers and high IQ either.
sure there are some serial killers who would have a high IQ, just like any group in society. but there are literally tens of thousands of murders in the country every year and the vast majority are not going to be from Ivy League grads.
another example of the murderer inserting themselves into an investigation and/or conversation!bmks270 said:
There was a strange call to a crime podcast/live streamer and some people think it was the suspect. Pure speculation at this point, but it's a weird call.

Boring presser, but expected to be. Until he gets to Idaho, we won't know much more than what the online sleuths are able to gather about who this guy is. I'm sure a lot more will come out in the meantime from people who knew him past or present.

Okay, I admit I haven't been on this thread. And I haven't closely followed all this. And I tuned in to the presser late. But I gotta say, that presser was worthless. I don't know how the press kept from 'come on, man'. Why bother holding a press conference to then deflect every question? They could have emailed out the information they were willing to share. It would have taken two sentences or so.
