Driving your own car and killing them in a manner that will surely leave DNA is definitely not criminal mastermind material. Definitely just first semester material vs actually earning that phd
I think it depends on what you mean.bmks270 said:

only a PHD candidate could be stupid enough to not realize how to get rid of incriminating evidence.DannyDuberstein said:

Having a criminology-focused undergrad degree (one of them, at least), I'll be very interested to research and read the details of the processes used to locate and capture the suspect. I interned with the US Marshal Service program while in Austin, and the level of skill they and other agencies deploy makes TV shows look silly in comparison.NPH- said:and it says they were able to track down the owner of the car seen near the crime sceneredcrayon said:

sounds like the PD did an absolutely amazing job with this case, and as others have said likely played extremely coy and unassuming with the information they had in order to give a false sense of security against this guy.
they will be talking about this case and the PD's response for years to come.

1000 watt JBL party box next to sliding door definitely would provide the decibels for a noise complaint

Arrest paperwork filed by Pennsylvania State Police in Monroe County Court said Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was being held for extradition in a criminal homicide investigation based on an active arrest warrant for first degree murder issued by the Moscow Police Department and Latah County Prosecutor's Office.
to be fair his post was posted months before this crime (it's not as if he did it after committing these heinous acts).LMCane said:

"Hello,
My name is Bryan, and I am inviting you to participate in a research project that seeks to understand how emotions and psychological traits influence decision-making when committing a crime. In particular, this study seeks to understand the story behind your most recent criminal offense, with an emphasis on your thoughts and feelings throughout your experience. In the event that your most recent offense was not one that led to a conviction, you may still participate. Additional surveys are included after the open-ended section as to best understand your unique traits. The study should take about 15-20 minutes to fully complete.
Your identity and all answers provided are completely confidential, and the link to the survey is also an anonymous link. This research has been approved by the DeSales University IRB.
Participants must be 18 years of age and older.
If you opt to participate, you may terminate participation at any time and for any reason.
If you have any questions about this research, you may contact the research team via email:
Student Investigator: Bryan Kohberger"
