Yeah, but I can see someone thinking he's in the clear because he's a couple thousand miles away. People like this guy always think they're smarter than everyone else (and I am sure he is pretty high IQ).

I think getting rid of the car may do more to put you on the radar. Once your car got caught on camera, you are at risk. There's no walking that back, and efforts to distance probably just draw attention

Ya maybe he thought he could just hide in the noise of the thousands of others with a white Elantra. I'd guess the cops have more to show that it was him besides just the car.

Right. I mean, if I have a male neighbor who owns a white elantra and that car disappears right after a white Elantra becomes a vehicle of interest, I'm friggin calling it in when I otherwise would never do that unless there were other suspicious issues with him

user in question goes by the name of: REMOVED

very eerie if this was the suspect that was frequently posting throughout the subs

So if this is the murderer, what do you think the plea will be? Guilty? If not, they will try to build up the insanity defense? They must have plenty of evidence tying him back to the area that should come out in short order unless it is small enough not to pollute the case, but killing 4 people has to have some threads all over and likely his DNA at site?

There can't be that many white Elantras in that area. It might have been registered in Pennsylvania so it didn't come up immediately.

Or he cut himself during the crime. It takes awhile to sort that out. Then familial DNA takes awhile to sort out.

Insanity defense is not what it was in the days of John Hinckley, Jr. If you tried to cover your tracks/escape, etc., that is evidence that you knew your actions were wrong, legally speaking, and insanity defense will not be sustainable.

Assuming this guy is guilty, he will not leave prison alive (one way or the other).

Insanity shouldn't be a defense. Insane murders should be removed from society the same as sane murderers.
