This was speculated very early on in the investigation when no suspect was identified. Several other area murders had remarkable similarities and it was proposed that this was possibly a serial killer (before the idaho4).
And I was one of those speculating if it was a serial killer. For such a bloody crime scene, it was miraculously devoid of evidence as to the perpetrator.NPH- said:

Not so sure about that. It was registering his car in WA that got him on the radar. Had he just dropped out of school and scooted back home to PA right after the murders, they may not have caught him.torrid said:
I think he was a budding serial killer who wasn't very smart.

One of the victim's IDs was found in Kohburger's car. Looks like he kept it as a trophy item.

Resubscribing. Somehow this thread dropped off my list.

Of the two survivors, one allegedly heard a commotion and witnessed a masked man exit through a rear sliding door, according to a police affidavit.
The second, a Nevada native named in the Nevada court filing made public Monday, allegedly heard or saw things that could clear the suspect, according to Richard Bitonti, a defense investigator working for Anne Taylor, Kohberger's court-appointed attorney.
In the documents, obtained by Fox News Digital, the subpoena demands the roommate's appearance on June 28, two days into Kohberger's planned preliminary hearing, and warns of a potential fine of $500 or 25 days in jail if she refuses to appear.
"During the course of my investigation, it became known to me that [she] has information material to the charges against Mr. Kohberger," Bitonti wrote in an affidavit in support of the subpoena, revealed Monday after online sleuths found the case listed on a Washoe County, Nevada, court docket.

i don't see how exculpatory the evidence can be if in fact they found his dna on the knife sheath....
unless the evidence is surviving roommate planted said evidence.
Not so fast. Not saying the bust is bad but not an open and shut case yet.ABATTBQ11 said:
If everything we've heard is true, there'd have to be video of someone else murdering them.
Never was able to see voir dire to see how screwed up that was in jury selection.MsDoubleD81 said:
I watched that trial. Can't figure out that jury.
In addition to the evidence that has been discussed at length on this thread, driving back to the scene at 9:00am will seal his fate in my opinion.aggiehawg said:Not so fast. Not saying the bust is bad but not an open and shut case yet.ABATTBQ11 said:

Very bloody scene. Stabbings. His touch DNA (most unreliable and subject to question) on the snap of the sheath, without much more DNA and trace evidence? That "should" be there?
Juries are unpredictable. A guy just was convicted of murder in Kenosha Wisconsin on the following evidence:
- no body
- large but not bleed out size blood at missing person's apartment
- zero DNA from missing person in the accused's vehicle
- zero DNA nor trace evidence of the accused in the missing person's apartment
- missing person was cheating on GF who was the ex/baby mama of the accused said GF pointed at accused immediately and he was arrested that day.
- missing person owed money to a lot of people, not including the accused
No physical evidence connecting him with the crime. None. But he was convicted anyway.
BK is a head case, no doubt but without the forensic evidence to put him there? Still some reasonable doubt there.
Man, Kenosha sure sounds like one **** hole of a city.aggiehawg said:Not so fast. Not saying the bust is bad but not an open and shut case yet.ABATTBQ11 said:
