Even if everything in Trump's statement is true, it matters zero now. The Trump era has run it's course, and Trump should be able to find satisfaction get behind a younger, energetic, popular conservative that he helped early on and who is now fully in command of the State of Florida and ready to move on to the main stage.
After yesterday, I don't think Donald Trump can beat Ron DeSantis in a long primary battle. It gave DeSantis the name recognition he lacked in some parts of the country and with casual Republican voters. Put them side by side on the campaign trail or in a debate and it would be not close.
If Trump has any sense he would stop while he's ahead and help where he can to get DeSantis elected. I expect his desire for vengeance and to an extent his ego won't let him do it. If it comes to a primary fight so be it, but Trump will lose.

Over the past two years the media/Dems have gone after two targets...Trump and Desantis. They clearly have no problem aiming for both at the same time.

Only thing I can think of is trump is jealous of desantis winning decisively. Not sure that makes any sense but this weird attack by trump on desantis makes no sense either.

Actually a lot of it is opinion from Trump's perspective but whatever. Trump better have something stronger than "DeSantis wasn't anything without me and he owes me allegiance for life because I helped get him elected". DeSantis paid Trump back by delivering Florida early in the night in 2020 after it was supposed to be a Battleground. Most of all though DeSantis is just way too smart for this tactic. He can either ignore it or take the high road and just make Trump look small and pathetic without saying a single negative word.

Desantis was in a very, very tight race for Governor. There was a very strong Dem push for Gillum and we were a very purple state at that point. I had a feeling Desantis would beat Gillum, but I was nervous because it was by no means a sure thing. I have no doubt that Trump's support helped boost him.
