When you take over as president, you nominate an AG and appoint an FBI director who actually have a spine and are not swamp rats that work against you. Is this really a question?
Maybe that's true and wasn't a fan of the Sessions hire either. Although, I do think when Trump got into office, his goal was to work and makes deals with whoever would come to the table to get things done to help the country and economy. I don't think he came in with the intent to be vengeful towards democrats, I believe he would have worked with them if they wanted that. Then the Russia lie started and he's been on defense for the past 7 years. Again, how do you combat a sitting president lying to a FISA court before you're even in office to get them to spy on you? That's how the trap was set, anything Trump did to stop the investigation or bring the truth out was presented as obstruction in the media, if he threatened to fire someone, OBSRUCTION they screamed. The public fell right in line in believing anything Trump did was trying to obstruct justice. It's unbelievable to me that people still don't see that or claim it was somehow Trumps fault. Do you think Trump forced them to be corrupt criminals?

He didn't force them, but his abrasive style did him no favors. He has this mistaken view that just because it was him and he won, everyone would ignore what he says and try to work with him. His methods worked against his goals.

The gaggle of boobs that he organized to take on election issues should give you zero confidence he could change the DOJ with a 2nd term. So many missteps chasing the wrong rabbits. He's getting worse at finding help, not better

So, Trumps fault Obama spied on him, understand your thinking now. I guess Obama's hand was forced. And I feel bad for the media, they were just trying to be good American journalist and mean Trump was so mean, they're hysteric hyperbole everyday was warranted. Trump is the worst for pushing those people to that.

Are you intentionally being obtuse? I didn't say anything like that. Trump was expecting snakes to not act like snakes. It was a series of serious mistakes in character judgement that was exacerbated by his narcissism.

Yes, you did. It's not being obtuse repeating what you said, you put it all on Trump and not the criminals that broke the law. Funny you call them snakes and not the criminals they are. I believe you feel the "snakes" were justified being that you won't condemn what they did and instead claim Trump is a narcissist so he brought it on himself. Are they trying to indict DeSantis in San Antonio because he is a narcissist too?

Uhh, DeSantis didn't put him in his administration.... and if he had, then yes, part of the blame would belong on him for putting those people in charge. That is not something a competent administrator has troubles with.

Trump didn't have an administration when they were setting up the Russia Lie. So, what exactly was he supposed to do other than what he did? Which was say he was getting spied on to which the media laughed and said Trump was trying to obstruct justice. By the time he was in office, a cabinet member was already arrested. A decorated general no less. Mueller had already started his years of bull**** too. Anything Trump did was painted as obstruction. Did you care about that or believe Trump was obstructing?

No, I want someone that will he effective in dismantling it. Not put a limp noodle like Jeff Sessions or do nothing swamp creatures like Barr and Wray on it.

I don't know what specific words you are looking for to get that I'm blaming the wrong actions of the left on the left, but also pointing to Trump having poor judgement in creating an environment where they could have success in their baseless attacks. Both are true.

They tried to impeachment him twice and went after everyone around him. Swat Raids with CNN there, blown up primtime news stories, lawyers suing, cities ignoring laws, fbi investigations, cia moles all doing everything they could to find something to give to the media. I think you're trying to hold Trump to this impossible standard because you hate him and don't want him to be the nominee, while playing down dem actions towards Trump and everyone around him. They catch a cabinet member doing something every incoming administration has done and then hammer the public with it so you'll come here to say Trump has poor judgement. It shockingly works like a charm.

Answer some simple questions maybe too. Was what happened to Trump just normal Washington politics?

It's amazing how many people want to turn a blind eye to the illegal acts in government because Trump was the target.

I'm still frustrated with what the irs did during Obama years. Highly highly illegal and no one cares. It's a dsng shame.

Of course, just like any other President, Trump just gets held to a different standard by you and others. I believe the good was better than the bad many times over. I also think he was treated in an unprecedented way with goal to keep him constantly on defense and fighting legal battles to keep their kickback schemes going. That set up the whataboutisms when the lights started coming on to what foreign aid and politician's foundations were really about.

Now answer my question. It's not hard.

I've answered it multiple times, but you won't listen. You keep denying that the personnel choices that he made, which just happen to coincide with the areas in which he came under attack, had anything to do with the problems we see happening from 2020 to now.

It's not a blind eye. It's the exact opposite. I wanted it dealt with. He had 4 years in the big seat to deal with it, and not only didn't he deal with it, he got punked in 2020. Covid, Fauci, the election, the aftermath. So we're just supposed to think he'll magically deal with it if he gets another chance? May as well wish in one hand, **** in the other, and see what fills up first

Yes... democrats very bad. Is that simple enough for you? You act like I'm saying they aren't malicious a-holes who will stop at nothing to keep their own power. I'm saying the opposite. I fully expect them to lie, cheat, steal and worse if they can get away with it. They are the worst possible people to be in charge of anything. But that was true way before Trump, and is exactly why his reckless bombastic style is a bad combination in fighting the left. No, he did not deserve the persecution he has received from day one, but he has never been careful about keeping a tight ship that invites them to take their shots. He was expecting to be able tofight them off through the sheer force of his personality, and now he is reaping the tares that kind of arrogance sows.
