There is a split between three distinct factions in the "liberal" camp and that causes all of these issues that've been mentioned here to occur.
1. Liberal elites - these are the politicians, business people, and bureaucrats that wildly profit from the division seen by their policies. Policies that create cultural clashes and distract from the coalescence of absolute power to the government. These people want to be permanently in control.
2. Far-left protofascists - these are your antifa types, born to weak willed parents who gave them little to no discipline, warped by the notion that everything must be torn apart to be rebuilt but erroneously taught that some version if communism is the only way. These are the footsoldiers of the elites, if indirectly. They are a wildcard to them as they can turn on the elites when they feel they aren't changing fast enough. They want to burn it all down but are mostly useful idiots.
3. "Always Been" democrats - these are the voters that believe they are best represented by the Democratic Party. They believe democrats are for all people and republicans only want to support business. They will focus on one issue and feed from the eternal spout of "knowledge" that is social media/MSM. These are the worst of the bunch. Utterly disconnected from the game their elites are playing yet fully hypnotized by the same elites. These are the ones who vote blue no matter who and will carry the weight of their decisions effortlessly. They think they are doing the right thing but have no idea what is being taken from them. And there are enough of them to sway our elections.

These three groups are generally the liberal block. Each Carrie's with it a different form of destruction. Corporatism, fascism, debauchery, anarchy, are all on the table if it feeds the elite.

Quit rewarding them by calling them liberals.

They are totalitarian leftists and neo Marxists.

Todays conservatives and political leadership are quite center, far from extreme. I didn't imply otherwise.

But I don't love conservatism in its extreme either, as it can be every bit as destructive as liberalism in extreme - and they both lead to the same place.
