It starts out with "Russia will be held accountable", but I get that it reads very vanilla, and compared to Trump, just lame. I'll be the first to say I wish he would've said it in a harsher tone, but that's not Biden. He's not a brawler like Trump or even a straight shooter like W, he's a senator and that's just how he speaks/thinks.

Now, those words being said, I'm sure everyone in Ukraine is happy with what he's approved and been a part of to help them get to where they are today.

Please. It's not merely "lame" or merely "not Biden". It's flat out incompetence and weakness. Stop trying to defend the indefensible. The Ukrainians weren't "aw shucks.. there goes Biden again.." they were LIVID. As they should have been. The WH had to rush out and release a "clarification". But it was too late. Putin got the message loud and clear: The man at the top does not really have the stomach for it. And that is all they needed to hear.

And Ukraine sure as hell wasn't happy when Biden squashed the Polish MIG deal. And it's very likely that Biden would have acted just like Obama and refrained from giving them weapons that were worth a damn if it wasn't for tiny ass nations like Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania offering Ukraine their Javelins right away. If tiny ass nations like that, which border Russia (or nearly border in Lithuania's case) can hang their necks out there and give Ukraine their best weapons, then what possible excuse would Biden, the leader of the most powerful nation on Earth (and on the other side of the world), have for not doing so? None. Biden was practically dragged kicking and screaming into doing the right thing. He has not been praiseworthy at all.

I think I get what you're saying.

I do find it amusing that(re:if I understand you correctly)even after all the weakness and blunders the current President's administration has done regarding Ukraine, if Ukraine prevails this administration will spin it as a victory for their policies rather than in spite of their policies.

You are confusing Putin's intent and reasoning for invading when he did with the actual outcome of said invasion. He obviously and clearly didn't do it while Trump was President because Trump had already hit Putin in the mouth twice in Syria. Trump was also a unique entity on the global stage that hasn't been seen in the modern era of US Presidents...if ever. He was a wildcard and the world looked upon him as such which is why you saw conflict across the globe die down, relatively speaking. There was all kinds of analysis written about this attribute of his presidency at the time. Everyone was scared to act up because they didn't know how the most powerful country on the planet would respond other than punch you in the throat if you got out of line.

Putin waited because of this and with a normal Presidency now in place (with an ethically compromised Democrat with mental decline at that), conditions and potential outcomes for invasion were much better. As has already been pointed out, Biden **** the bed in the initial stages of this by practically inviting Putin into Ukraine with his minor incursion comments. So in the beginning Im sure Putin was quite pleased with his move.

It was only after European leaders became alarmed with Biden's lack of coherent strategy and stupid comments that they then took the reigns and drug Biden with them. This is fact and you can go back and read threads on here at the time with all of the articles linking it. We were tracking this in real time.

Now, the outcome has not turned out to be genius because Putin was either lied to about his military capabilities and/or hubris prevented them from accepting their reality.
