Correct. There is no context where it makes any sense or can have any good motive.Hungry Ojos said:

Need to triangulate the Muslim community into this. Say they are teaching that Al-lah is not real or something.Ellis Wyatt said:It is frightening. They absolutely want to steal childrens' souls.Tom Doniphon said:

Not my rodeo honestly, though I do think comprehensive sex ed is important at appropriate ages - again education not a "dear penthouse" letter level of sex discussion.bayareaag17 said:TXAGFAN said:Just curious if we were casually throwing around slurs - cowardly not to own your words. Honest question for you. I'll preface it with the fact that I really don't care if someone is gay or not. My question is, how come the gay community isn't coming out against this in a big way? This type of stuff is going to turn a ton of people against LGBT rights. Quite frankly, I can see why the approval of LGBT people and movements has been dropping like a rock in recent years. It's gone way too far.

I don't see anything in the story that this is gay people pushing this so why is it my issue? it's the school district and unless the gays all got together and pushed for people to get them voted in I don't see the connection. Again, we aren't a some kind of organized group. A group of gay people is just as diverse as a group of people with say brown hair. Also, you want a group of largely childless people to take a big interest in the education of children who are almost entirely the children of heterosexual people? Weird to put the burden on us in your question at all and I always question what you think we should do. As a Texan should I fly to this city's next school board meeting? Why aren't YOU doing something more?
As always, I don't know any gay groomers/pedophiles or anyone who would support others who engage in it. Knew a couple straight pedopholes in my hometown that went to jail though. YMMV.
Have a great weekend.
Those groups you just mentioned make up probably 70-80% of population. When you find the group they're all a part of pushing this bogeyman agenda you should ask them.bayareaag17 said:TXAGFAN said:Not my rodeo honestly, though I do think comprehensive sex ed is important at appropriate ages - again education not a "dear penthouse" letter level of sex discussion.bayareaag17 said:TXAGFAN said:Just curious if we were casually throwing around slurs - cowardly not to own your words. The left, women and the LGBT community have been pushing this though. My question is, why? What place does this have in a school? Gender identity? Who likes to cornhole who? Why do kids need to be taught this?
I'm genuinely trying to figure out why stuff like this keeps happening so I hope you don't take this as me antagonizing you. I would LOVE to see more gay folks come out against this. I think the gays against groomers group is awesome.

Weird I was told this never bleeds into the school curriculum and that they would never try to force the LGBT mafia garbage down our throats. It's not like I had whole lesson plans based around this trash as a high schooler in the San Francisco area 10 years ago.
Seriously though, how do Dems deny that this is happening?
🚨 BREAKING → Every House Democrat just voted against requiring parental notice and consent before a school provides services related to sexual orientation or gender identity.

Outrageous.
Parents have a right to know what schools are doing with their kids.

Re: your edit about pushing people to be more socially conservative, congrats you found out why this narrative is getting so much dialogue. Republicans, starting in FL, realized this idea resonates and reignited a lot of bad feelings towards gay people in a way that doesn't seem bigoted. It's perfect propaganda. So much so you think I should be actively doing something about it when I have nothing to do with this school board for example or any other sort of organization like it, nor do I have kids.
And you've conveniently ignored every question I asked you re: specific actions I should take and what YOU have done as a person who should have the same, or more if you have kids, level of concern about crimes against children.bayareaag17 said:TXAGFAN said:

It's really not propaganda. This stuff is happening. I have personally been in classrooms where gender identity and sex positions and styles were taught. This is actually happening whether you acknowledge it or not. I know most people here are Texans, I'm not. I'm from San Francisco. This stuff has been in the curriculum since I got to high school and now it's spreading all over the country. All I'm saying is that I think the best counter to the "propaganda" is for gays to come out against this.

That is a weird leap in logic as I said ZERO that would indicate I think grooming is appropriate, the opposite really, but you're going to do what you want. Not sure why you telling me I should do more and me asking what specifically I should do as well as what you do is met with this sort of response.bayareaag17 said:TXAGFAN said:And you've conveniently ignored every question I asked you re: specific actions I should take and what YOU have done as a person who should have the same, or more if you have kids, level of concern about crimes against children.bayareaag17 said:TXAGFAN said:
