I heard on a segment on TV where the host was talking about DeSantis sending the immigrants to MV, but what really stood out was when she said that he was a Presidential hopeful.

We all know he's been working his way through all that he's done to make himself the best candidate for the next election, but I don't remember him saying he's running. Did I miss something or is it just so obvious to everyone now that he's going to run that they're going to just speak of him this way going forward?

Yes, they are all liberal "liars" and agenda peddlers when it doesn't fit the right's narrative, correct?

Can you please provide a link to DeSantis saying climate change isn't real?
I don't believe DeSantis is serious about it nor do I believe he truly believes it is happening. If he did, he would be all in. HIs state will be the first to disappear due to rising sea levels.

Ah, so that's a narrative you created in your head without evidence. Thanks for admitting that. Ironic that you are calling people hypocrites.

I guess all the rich liberals living in oceanside mansions in South Florida don't truly believe in it either. I mean, since Florida is gonna disappear and all. Same for Obama and his multiple seaside properties. When will Florida be gone? Before or after Guam tips over?

Why would a Florida Governor pay for a private plane to take undocumented immigrants from Texas to Massachusetts (and claim credit for it) if it wasn't to get his name in the national media?

The entire stunt had nothing to do with Florida.
'member when New York said they were a sanctuary city? Pepperidge farm 'members.

'member when DC said they were a sanctuary city? Pepperidge farm 'members.

'member when both DC and New York mayors said their city services were overwhelmed from something like 4000 illegals? Guessing Watermelon Man don't 'member
Sounds like you are trying for a 'member-only society.

Last time I checked, there was a statue in the New York Harbor, called Liberty or something. It has inscribed on it:

Quote:

GIVE ME YOUR TIRED YOUR POOR
YOUR HUDDLED MASSES YEARNING TO BREATHE FREE
THE WRETCHED REFUSE OF YOUR TEEMING SHORES
SEND THESE, THE HOMELESS, TEMPEST, TOSSED TO ME
I LIFT MY LAMP BESIDE THE GOLDEN DOOR

I'm guessing you might 'member that, but maybe you are wishing you didn't. That statue, those words, and the response from NYC doesn't sound to me like a city that is objecting to people "Yearning to breathe free." The truth is, they are welcoming them.

NYC has a homeless population of over 90,000. You think a few thousand more is going to "overwhelm" them? Not likely. And, the people Abbott is sending aren't your typical homeless. They want to work for a good life. NYC was built by immigrants.

The right wing nutjobs want to make it sound as if New Yorkers are objecting to them. They aren't. They are objecting to not being notified that Abbott is sending them and just dumping them at the bus station, where there isn't anybody to help them.

How the **** is South Texas suppose to house and care for thousands and thousands of illegals?

These cities want to claim they are sanctuary cities, but freak out when they 5% of the illegals Texas and Arizona do.

Are there really posters here that are not aware of the fact that the Biden administration has been flying illegal aliens to states of his administration's choice, often in the dead of night or hide this fact.

Why in the hell didn't the MSM call Biden's administration the awful names they are calling Republican Governors?

Clue to those posters denouncing this as a stunt, it is because the Democratic Party leadership, leftist progressives and MSM are corrupt, unethical and have absolutely no honor.

I can't believe people, supposedly college educated ones at that, still believe in the "97%" lie.

Quote:

Unfortunately, in the case of 97% of climate scientists agreeing that human beings are the main cause of warming, the researchers have engaged in egregious misconduct.

One of the main papers behind the 97 percent claim is authored by John Cook, who runs the popular website SkepticalScience.com, a virtual encyclopedia of arguments trying to defend predictions of catastrophic climate change from all challenges.

Here is Cook's summary of his paper: "Cook et al. (2013) found that over 97 percent [of papers he surveyed] endorsed the view that the Earth is warming up and human emissions of greenhouse gases are the main cause."

This is a fairly clear statement97 percent of the papers surveyed endorsed the view that man-made greenhouse gases were the main causemain in common usage meaning more than 50 percent.

But even a quick scan of the paper reveals that this is not the case. Cook is able to demonstrate only that a relative handful endorse "the view that the Earth is warming up and human emissions of greenhouse gases are the main cause." Cook calls this "explicit endorsement with quantification" (quantification meaning 50 percent or more). The problem is, only a small percentage of the papers fall into this category; Cook does not say what percentage, but when the study was publicly challenged by economist David Friedman, one observer calculated that only 1.6 percent explicitly stated that man-made greenhouse gases caused at least 50 percent of global warming.

Where did most of the 97 percent come from, then? Cook had created a category called "explicit endorsement without quantification"that is, papers in which the author, by Cook's admission, did not say whether 1 percent or 50 percent or 100 percent of the warming was caused by man. He had also created a category called "implicit endorsement," for papers that imply (but don't say) that there is some man-made global warming and don't quantify it. In other words, he created two categories that he labeled as endorsing a view that they most certainly didn't.

The 97 percent claim is a deliberate misrepresentation designed to intimidate the publicand numerous scientists whose papers were classified by Cook protested:

"Cook survey included 10 of my 122 eligible papers. 5/10 were rated incorrectly. 4/5 were rated as endorse rather than neutral."

It has been known as a debunked lie for years, yet still gets repeated by the low-intellect.

And out come the logical fallacies.

Actions speak much louder than words. He should be at the forefront of going all electric vehicles, not Gavin Newsom.

Why do we need all electric vehicles?

So that we can burn more coal. Oh, and have tons of batteries that will need to be disposed of down the road.

Your quote in your signature is ironic given your posts support of Ron DeSantis. Ron DeSantis pretty much epitomizes the right's hatred of science.

DeSantis and the Dark Ages

The right doesn't HATE science!

They just understand it better than left!

HTH
Comical. 94 percent of the scientific community agree smoking causes lung cancer. I am sure you and Ron DeSantis would agree. 99 percent of the scientific community agree that man made climate change is real. Ron DeSantis doesn't. Hypocrisy and inconsistency.
The comment about climate change is incorrect. Merely repeating a lie ad infinitum does not make it true.
Concerning the bolded sentence, you haven't seen the *****OFFICIAL ELECTION DAY THREAD***** have you? Of course, you're correct, but that thread has over 20,000 responses, most of them repeating lies on the theory that if they're repeated enough, they will come true.

I notice you didn't refute my statement...you just moved the goalposts.
