I heard on a segment on TV where the host was talking about DeSantis sending the immigrants to MV, but what really stood out was when she said that he was a Presidential hopeful.

We all know he's been working his way through all that he's done to make himself the best candidate for the next election, but I don't remember him saying he's running. Did I miss something or is it just so obvious to everyone now that he's going to run that they're going to just speak of him this way going forward?

The media wants a Trump vs. DeSantis showdown. It's their best bet to get the GOP to start fighting and split. DeSantis won't announce until Trump decides on what he's going to do. So the media is pushing the issue. Calling him "Presidential hopeful" is their best bet to get Trump to start calling him names.

He got a $12 million budget put in the last funding bill. BTW it absolutely does have to do with Florida because the goal is to stop illegal immigration. This has gotten the national media talking about illegal immigration more than anything else for the last year. Can't wait for the next plane to arrive.

DeSantis is a Democrat slayer. He is demonstrating visibly the hypocrisy of Democrats by showing the country how they react when they have to deal with, even in an incredibly small way, with the horrible policies they have dumped on border states. He's holding their feet to the fire and forcing their actions to match their words. And he's proving to the country where the real racists reside.

Nothing wrong with that.

He's also shifting the societal cost of these illegals to the blue states that claim to agree with Biden's immigration policies. These states should have no qualms at paying whatever it costs to take care of them.

Because it gets rid of illegals, that Florida does not want, and gets them to lily white liberals that have the compassion, caring, and understanding to take a few pictures and play soccer with them before shipping them off to an army base within 48 hours.

The thing is, Florida didn't have them, until they took them from San Antonio. If DeSantis is sincere about keeping illegals out of Florida, he should stop sending planes to Texas to get them. NYC has a homeless population of over 90,000. You think a few thousand more is going to "overwhelm" them? Not likely. And, the people Abbott is sending aren't your typical homeless. They want to work for a good life. NYC was built by immigrants.

The right wing nutjobs want to make it sound as if New Yorkers are objecting to them. They aren't. They are objecting to not being notified that Abbott is sending them and just dumping them at the bus station, where there isn't anybody to help them.




Hmmm. Is Mexico notifying Texas as to when the illegals are going to show up, or do they just show up? You have obviously missed the entire point of sending the migrants to these liberal cities. These "sanctuary cities" can't handle the exact situation that they vote to create in border states. And at an infinitesimal fraction of the scale.

And invoking the Statue of Liberty is the same, tired **** that libs repeat without actually having a point. The immigration system has always been restricted by laws. Not every human being on the face of the earth can just walk across the border and stay. Anyone with a brain understands this.

DeSantis is a Democrat slayer. He is demonstrating visibly the hypocrisy of Democrats by showing the country how they react when they have to deal with, even in an incredibly small way, with the horrible policies they have dumped on border states. He's holding their feet to the fire and forcing their actions to match their words. And he's proving to the country where the real racists reside.

Nothing wrong with that.

He's also shifting the societal cost of these illegals to the blue states that claim to agree with Biden's immigration policies. These states should have no qualms at paying whatever it costs to take care of them.

Not a candidate for president, since the implies having been endorsed by the party, not even a candidate running in a primary (that hasn't even accepted nominations, yet), but he is 'hopeful' that he can become one.

Florida actually has a budget for bussing/flying illegal's, why not use it? Who cares on the reason, its good optics AND helps Florida.

Yeah, I love it because libs are worried. DeSantis is smart. The leftist hypocrites don't have an answer for this, other than to just ship the illegals somewhere else and hope no more get transported to their area and the problem magically goes away or stays someone elsed problem. The hypocrisy is so thick even the lying Democrats can't deny it and they know it doesn't sit well with most Americans.
