The "right" will never ever win another race anywhere in this nation without the evangelical religious.

But the evangelical religious can win contests by working with both people of the right and left.

Hispanics are very religious. Union members are often very religious. Trump young males are very religious. The Republican Party will be lucky to hold on to these groups. Anti-globalists are mostly religious and don't like the corporatists of the WEF.

Keep talking like the OP and you can be guaranteed to never win again. It is a coalition. You give and take to be in the coalition. Despise one leg of the three legged stool and you tip over. Democrats understand this. Country club republicans must constantly be reminded.
Social Conservatism mixed with Economic Nationalism is the winning ticket. That's what real Americans want.

what i see on that plot is the reason for inflation is that neither side cares about economic conservativism
I really don't blame them, the deficit is never going to be addressed. We have so many unfunded liabilities that are electoral suicide to mess with. The entire world is in massive debt, it's going to come crashing down but it's already so big it's practically impossible to deal with.

Do you think our country has improved or declined with the increase of degenerate behavior and rejection of God?
When was this not the case?
We can go way back.

Pre USA
When Catholics were making deals, enslaving and killing natives?

Protestants buying Manhattan for beads.

They embraced God so all good, right?

When we were dunking "witches", errrrr women we did not like?

They were wrong, but embraced God so all good, right?

1776-1865
We all know what this was.

They were wrong, but embraced God so all good, right?

19th Century, Early 20th Century
Rejection of God brought us "Demon Rum", the drug (alcohol) of the 19th century which culminated in the early 20th century prohibition.

All those temperance churches made it all better, right?
(Maybe they did, smashing private property for the greater good)

1920s
Just a church group, nothing degenerate

Up to 1965
God and Jesus were ok with this too, right?

Sorry, please be specific with your time frame when in the US we did not have degenerate behavior and embraced God.

There's always idiots that make their side look bad. I know I could put just as many examples for the right, I just need to go to a biased outlet to find them, but that doesn't mean that people, even right leaning ones, aren't happy with where the country is.

That doesn't mean it's perfect or ideal, but it's not the doom and gloom portrayed by some. Trust me, our great great grandkids will be having these discussions, all while living their best lives with friends and families.

My letter to the religious right would be:

Your religious values should make logical sense. Having a higher authority keeps our Hubris in check. Men and women staying married helps raise better children and ultimately a better society.

If you're arguing an issue, argue from a point of logic to back up your religious beliefs. Avoid saying "because the Bible says". The Bible may say it, but if you don't understand logically why you should do something you're never going to convince anyone who's non-religious.

I don't look to our forefathers for moral grounding. Slavery is an obviously evil institution that our forefathers had no qualms about. That we have moved from a government where slavery was written into our Constitution to now acknowledging that two gay people are not evil for being gay and can actually get married is a welcome step in the direction of morality.

That doesn't mean we look around at how people act today and say wow we're so much more moral than they were back then. It's just that we don't turn a blind eye to the evil crap that our ancestors did and pine for the good old days where people were better.
Your knowledge of our country's forefathers is extremely surface level, as taught by teacher union back curriculum. And calling the allowance of gay marriage a step towards morality is high comedy.

We on the right should reject these fools simply because they are fools who make crap up about our nation's founding and have t the slightest clue about morality.

I fully understand that there are corporate tyrants just as much as there are government tyrants. And there is nothing socialism/communism can do that would be better than what was built here in this country. All of the collectivist ideologies are bankrupt built entirely on envy and strife, and rob the individual of their drive to better themselves.

Yes, you give and take. This is what the Texas GOP voted on as our top 15 priorities in order:

Protect elections
Ban Democratic chairs
Abolish abortion in Texas
Protect the electric grid
Ban gender modification of children
Ban taxpayer-funded lobbying
Stop sexualizing Texas kids
Secure the border
Eliminate property taxes
Educational freedom and parental rights
Protect medical freedom
Defend gun rights
Stop executive overreach
Convention of States
Save women's sports

Banning gay marriage didn't make that list. But the theocratic religious right wants to come in and put banning gay marriage at the top of that list. That is what I mean by hijacking the movement. They're welcome to join but they should understand that they're JOINING, not HIJACKING.

Quite the opposite really. We blame capitalism for creating a lot of the modern conditions of social rot. Capitalism is fine when your population is religious and moral and focused upon good values. It does not work when you have global elite controlled banks running everything and controlling monetary supply with no regards to the citizens of the country.

Of course that isn't to say we like socialism either because we don't. We also blame that for a lot of the social rot. It also doesn't work for the exact same reasons listed above.

A country without morals or culture is a country of nothing but economic units that exists solely to consume product that can be easily controlled by the state with free things.

We have the absolute worst of all worlds right now in a country that is controlled by people who care nothing about it at all, many of which are not even citizens of the country.

They also install unaccountable governments very resistance to removal or change. They lack even the honor or the reciprocal duties expected of a medieval Lord to his vassals.
