Red flag law is not the only reason people have soured on Crenshaw. He has made a string of poor moves since he has been in office that expose him as a squishy arrogant swamp creature like the rest.

TX 2 hasn't put a D in since 2003. Hasn't voted D on president this century. And each of his two elections hasn't even been close, so not sure how you saying he must play between the 40's holds much water. He does a few good things from time to time imo, but overall, he is a disappointment and is about as swampy as one can get in 4 short years.

I have no problem with changing purchase age of AR15s and >.22 rifles to 21. For same reason we should change voting age to 21. Our society has become much more immature.

I'm not supporting red flag laws, but here is the only actual comments from Trump I could find where he explicitly states taking guns "through due process", not taking them, then later due process. I'm against both generally.

Perhaps BMX or anyone else can provide evidence of Trump actually saying what's claimed in article? Otherwise are we left to assume this was an "anonymous official" who provided story to media about a closed door WH meeting or something?

But looking at his performance - it's pretty spectacular. We know Pelosi is corrupt and evil and I think he actually did better than her if I recall the numbers correctly.

He's also one of the best stock pickers in the nation, better than the best and brightest on Wall Street. He beat the SP index last year by almost 100%.

I would actually argue Trump is way more anti-gun than Crenshaw. Let's at least have consistent principles. I am a big Trump guy and would gladly vote for him again…but let's be honest, there's good Trump and bad Trump.
