Agreed, and I think the trap that VS fell for was that if people give "likes" to magazine cover ads with plus sized women, then that would mean that plus sized women would feel like they're now just as physically desired as that size 2 and in turn go shopping in their stores.

That's not the case, for good or bad, that's just not how this, or any western society works.

Me, buying lingerie for smoking hot chick I dated when I was 28 and she was a 25 yr old gymnast: " I'll take the whole store!!"

How much of their sales are dudes trying to get good looking women into lingerie? Alot? Is that a metric? Apparently if it isn't it should be.
