VS shunned any woman over size 6 or 8 for years. Why do they think those same women are all the sudden going to flock to their stores just VS all the sudden went woke?
My wife who is a size 12 felt judgment when shopping at VS. She stop going years ago. Now she only shops Lane Bryant or Yandy.Average Joe said:

They're surprised that a size 18 would feel awkward around a store full of size 2s, and thereby skip it? A blind man could've seen this coming.

Expect to see these VS products, sans brand labels, flooding third world markets.

Pretty much this. VS gained popularity because they figured out how to sell sex to women. "Buy and wear our stuff and you'll be sexy!"FTAG 2000 said:No Spin Ag said:

Not that so much as they changed their marketing to push trannies, unattractive types like Rapinoe, etc. ditched the Angels.
Get woke go broke.
That's not a "1", Your "4" seems low as well. "2" should be higher also. "3" seems about right. No Spin Ag said:TxTarpon said:

Have you seen a Victoria's Secret store front recently, fat models and mannequins. They are all in on fat sizes and marketing.
Wife stopped shopping there a few years ago when they got rid of bathing suits and started fat advertising.
Effective ads are aspirational. Being fat isn't something women aspire to be. This is advertising 101. They have a terrible leadership ignoring laws of advertising and marketing. Their decline was easily predicted.
Don't forget the sailing industry. This is all from just one " Plus sized empowered woman "DannyDuberstein said:

Yes.
I know it's possible that VS was already in significant decline, like Sports Illustrated, and this was a potential last grasp on retaining that marketplace in the age of Amazon, but the reality is that VS had a specific demographic and product, and they lost their identity.
I have to believe that part of the problem was the corporate decision makers started including an Diversity and Inclusion specialist and made decisions on feelings and what they thought sounded good, and not data & identity.
