Lol isn't Sanger the evil abirtion American lady also accused of hating black babies even more?

Evil fine, yes. Top 100 of all time? Not a big history buff I guess.

Hitler? He was not even the worst IN HIS OWN DECADE.

IIRC it was also about 1/3rd of world population at the time.

Hitler is reflexively picked by many because of his motives, but there were plenty of historical figures responsible for far more deaths, even in the 20th century. To leftists and impressionable moderates, killing 6-11 million because you hate their race or religion is worse than killing 30-40+ million because they simply didn't go along with your political ambitions, or because your great leap forward was completely incompetent. I tend to go with the highest body count as the greatest evil. Hitler might be in my top ten, but he's not really a contender for #1.

There have been 63 million legal abortions in the United States from 1973 to 2019 alone. That's an average of 1.39 million per year...safe to say then that the total number now since 1973 is around $67 million. Prior to 1973, 20 states allowed legal abortions (40% of the US states). Probably not the same per year numbers per state as after 1973, but still, you can expect somewhere in the neighborhood (conservatively) of averaging around 13,000 per year per state (average).

Planned Parenthood was started in 1916 in New York. New York is a state that had some form of legal abortion going back to like the 1870's. Largest population and one of the most lenient when it comes to abortions. And of course Planned Parenthood has spread out nationwide.

Needless to say, you can easily say that Sanger's work ultimately resulted in somewhere around 75 million human lives ended (conservatively...I bet it's closer to 100 million). And that's before you start applying exponential properties to these numbers. If just half of those 75-100 million would have had one child themselves, that is an additional 37-50 million lives that never happened.

Yeah, I would say Ms. Sanger had a horrible impact on humankind.

EDIT to add: Yes, I know PP isn't responsible for all of those abortions, but they are the ones who had the biggest impact on abortion policy and making it legal in all 50 states.

Well, i definitely appreciate your response, but no matter what you think of abortion, in my opinion legally lobbying for legal abortions hardly ranks in there with murdering, torturing, and starving people, including women, children and pregnant women, destroying the culture and freedoms of the world, killing everything good about mankind, etc.

Not trolling. The history of human emancipation can be chronicled with the reproductive freedom of a societies women. When women are educated and endowed with their natural born right to manage their own bodies and their reproduction, the entire village rises.

You aren't good at math. He killed over 10% of the global population at the time in order to achieve that, it lasted less than 200 years and once it dissolved the ensuing chaos led to arguably the worst century in recorded history.

Imagine someone coming along today, killing around 800 million people over he course of a few decades and then saying "now look how peaceful it is".

This is such a tired talking point. The European powers had been gearing up for war for 20 years and several of them, Germany in particular, was looking for a reason to fight. And because of the network of alliances ANY little thing would have set it off.

If it wasn't that it would have been something else. Historians generally agree WW1 would have broken out within a year regardless of the assassination. Germany was already planning an invasion of Belgium and France for a couple years before that.

But it was that. That's what history is. I really dont understand the point you think youre making. If hitler hadnt killed 6 million people he wouldnt be one of histories greatest monsters, but he did. If the british didnt go for the arsenals at lexington and concord the shot heard round the world would have never been fired, but they did. If princip hadnt fired the shot the war may have started for other reasons, but he did.

Dang - we Americans are incredibly short sighted (from a historical and domestic perspective). Suffering extends in ripples from truly destructive people.

Obviously Eve.
And then Mohammed.
But beyond that - you kinda gotta focus on ancient China and India (from a human # perspective)
Probably start with disease initiators /spreaders (guy who f-ed a monkey, guy who ate a bat, guy but by a rat, guy who ordered cats exterminated, guy who contaminated air or water, etc)
Followed by destructive leaders who created famines
Followed by conquerors such as Genghis Khan

Famine, disease, and war are often a package deal, so it's a bit of a trick to untangle, but I could see Genghis taking 3rd.

What does math have to do with it? It's philosophical. Ten percent of the population dead (a high estimate that has more to do with the Mongol's well executed propaganda than reality, but we'll roll with it) vs two hundred years of cultural advancement and prosperity for a quarter of the world or more. Are you blaming the dissolution and the aftermath on a man that had been dead for 200 years? Silly.
