Anaheim Police to test out using Model Ys as squad cars. This … Hertz.

A number of police departments have used Teslas and found them to be a lot cheaper to operate because of how they are used in that service. This is a totally different situation than Hertz and you know it but always try to inflame the situation.
Here is a real world result in Canada where you ICE trolls say EVs don't work due to cold.

A sample of one is always definitive. You can draw a line right through that data point to extrapolate it...
There are other departments that have similar result but I didn't realize you think that we need to post results from all of them which would make the posts around here long if we start doing that.
I notice you are fine with samples of one on the other side of the issue btw.
Since you want more though…..
https://www.daywireless.com/blog/2022/06/07/the-case-of-the-lake-oswego-police-tesla/"An internet search for "Tesla police car" will reveal dozens of results of other agencies around the nation who are using Tesla's as police cars. They've become popular enough that emergency vehicle equipment manufactures like Setina, Havis, Whelen, etc., have been advertising their Tesla-specific equipment on the cover of catalogs and mailers."

For the year, they saved about $24,000 in fuel and maintenance by running the three electric police cruisers."
"The savings were more than we anticipated," said police chief Scott. "It was due to our brakes. We have high performance brakes on our police vehicles. Throughout the course of a year, we will put $2,000 of brakes on one vehicle. The regenerative braking of the Tesla completely dissolved that cost for us and that is something that we weren't expecting." ADDED NOTE: I guess the high particulate matter from EV braking is a lot less than ICE braking.
