I am a very mediocre golfer and have come withing 3-4 inches many times. It can happen for anyone with a little luck.
I hit a hole in one my fourth time ever golfing on the 18th hole at Midlothian's Pecan Trails golf course.

It was about 180 yards.

I am not an avid golfer by any stretch.
