I use Dollar Shave Club but I'm more than willing to switch to Jeremy's. When it hits the market I'm in.

Stop subbing to these services. Go to Italian barber and buy a RazoRock safety razor, 100 feather blades, a brush, and some soap and save a lot of money in the long run (and have a much better shave).

The schick xtreme 2 blade razor is hard to beat. They may be woke too but I never get the big deal about these mail in razors.

There are some good threads over the years about the wonders of switching to safety razors. I've had this setup for three years and still endorse it:

Merkur Slant Bar 37c
GBS DBE variety pack of razors
Proraso pre/after shave/shaving cream
Haircut & Shave Co. synthetic brush

You can save some time if you are willing to compromise on quality by substituting regular shaving foam. But I never skip the pre-shave cream. Blades last more shaves than a disposable multi-blade.

Real men have beards that don't make them look like hobos and keep them shaped and nicely trimmed. So while I don't buy blades at the rate I used to (which was almost never as I've been a wet shaver for 20 years) I still buy them.

A slant huh? Brave man. My personal favorite that I will pass down to my kid one day is a pre war Gillette tech that was refinished by Delta Echo Razorworks before they shut down. Things like 90 years old but looks brand new.

Buy a kit from the website I linked above and avoid paying markups for a pointless subscription. You can get a hundred feather blades for $30. Feathers are some of the best DE razors there are.

I don't know what any of this stuff is or means, and thus the easy route. I don't do subscription though and don't need much as I have a full time beard (so only have to shave cheeks and neck....razors last me a LONG time as a result). What is a feather?

Old Barbasol razor (weighs a ton) or the same Merkur as well
Feather blades
Tabac shave soap
Clubman Pinaud aftershave

DE = double edged razor. What your grandpa likely used.

Feathers are a brand of DE blades. Aggressive, precise, and smooth.

It's the best shave you can find unless you are are going straight razor
