The Ukes and western media are the audience. They don't care unless they now suspect there are saboteurs onsite.

All I got out of that is China will probably learn from our use of intelligence, but they have no clue how.

This builds on the recent excellent WaPo article (linked above) describing the run-up to war. Second half is particularly interesting.

INTELLIGENCE AS STRATEGY
They got it right this time ... but US intel has a history of being overly influenced by US policy. When you have a hammer everything starts to look like a nail analogy. WMD in Iraq and the Afghanistan withdrawal come to mind.

Google Earth has recent sat imagery of the likely depot. It also seems to be a very large truck transportation depot. Ouch.

Jeez what about those 13 buildings all climate control and elevators. Looks like offices or dormitories and a main command CC building between the truck fields.

What I find interesting is the OPSEC on the most recent crimea hits. No actual sat pics shared yet but we know they exist. There has been a little bit of weather over crimea last 48 hours but Waffledynmics shared pic of a field on fire within a klic or 2 of main strike the following day when it was clear. Given the size of the secondary explosions my theory is that there is a significant amount of collateral damage done to civilians and or civilian structures that they don't want to realize yet. Especially if it was atacams and not lil green men. I wonder if this will be the same of will it get disclosed.

Everything around this Ukraine/Russian conflict is clouded in suspicion, disinformation, and lies. Starting with the claims of heroism about the Ukrainian soldiers on Snake Island and going forward.

Black = front a month ago
Red = today

Using the conservative US estimates of 500 Russian casualties each day, Russia lost 15,000 troops for that.

Jesus.

Random question- what did the front look like from 2014 to today?

I know I've never seen propaganda being used to support a war effort. Strange times indeed

Of course they are covering up as much as possible. They were still claiming "accidents" up to just a few days ago before it became so eye rolling obvious it was Uke action.

At this point I am convinced they are in more of an information war against their own people then anyone else.

I completely agree with you on orcs lying to orcs and the world but I am curious about BDA images not being released by UKR or USA, especially when theyre was almost no delay on the airbase sat images, and some of those satellites are privately owned.

Mmmm, EVERY country in a war exaggerates heroes and makes tales of soldiers and battles. I agree, I don't like it either, countries motivate their forces this way but it is what it is..

Maybe they feel like releasing the images right away might give some unnecessary clues to how the attacks are taking place that would reduce the chances of similar success in the future?

Not sure UKR has the luxury of avoiding the collateral damage side effects. Not sure what the breakdown is among Crimea between pro-UKR and pro-russia but either way it probably is going to be messy.

Yessir, but no RR spur for offloading which means the ammo was likely unloaded and trucked from the Valuyki railyard about 10 miles south. Judging by the number of trucks and fireworks, this was a HUGE storage and distribution hub. Interesting to see if we get any day-after sat photos.

LOL...time to refill the cannon fodder:

The Russian government announced this week it is bringing back a Soviet-era honorary title and financial reward bestowed upon Russian women who have 10 or more children.

In a decree this week that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed, it was announced that the title of "Mother Heroine" will again be awarded to Russian women who "birth and raise" 10 Russian citizens.

The title will come with a reward of 1 million Russian Rubles, equating to roughly $16,645 in U.S. dollars, once the tenth child turns one year of age. Recipients will also earn a five-pointed golden star medal, the decree states.

i was contemplating how the overhead wires and even track there are likely going to unusable for an extended period of time given the massive size of the fireworks display.

Hard to have ten children without males of a certain age, who are being killed.

Also the more Western styled Russian women in Moscow and St. Pete are not going for that either.

Ten kids? Good luck with that.

I am sure the cost of feeding and raising 10 kids makes that a losing proposition.
