Interesting development. I'd be very curious if Azov breaks out. Some of the "separatist" fighters there have been woefully underequipped, literally using Mosin Nagant rifles.

I'd be extremely unlikely but also incredibly interesting to see some movement through the city by the Ukes.

I wouldn't call the mosin nagant under equipped. It is the rifle used by the most prolific sniper in history. It may be old, but it packs a punch and is still super deadly in the hands of a trained sniper. 7.62x54 is a beast.

I wonder if it was brought down before detonating. Does the projectile and drone hit the target at the same time or does it detach before detonating?

From the videos I've seen, I believe it detaches. It's missing the projectile end. So it is entirely possible that this hit its target as intended.

News: Germany and the Netherlands will deliver a Howitzer package (12 Panzerhaubitze2000 systems / 7 from DEU, 5 from NL) to #Ukraine soon. The training for UKR soldiers in Germany will start next week, the package could be sent to UKR in the next weeks - DEU def min Lambrecht.

I haven't seen any such video. Maybe they're out there? But I'd guess you're thinking of video of a bunch of improvised Ukrainian drones dropping grenades.

The Switchblade 300 has wings fore and aft. The front wings on this one are completely gone and the body has melted plastic from the mid point forward. It hit something and got real hot.

Thanks for the clarification. I went back and watched another video, and it seems I was misremembering. It would be pretty difficult to confuse this with a drone dropped grenade, though...

I think its interesting that TB2s are being used to attack on the island and or small russian boats in the area. I would think there is higher priorities for the TB2 like Mariupol. Could be blocking effort to prevent landing force in the Odessa/Transnitia area that has been chatted up recently or the start of something more to come. The island is 140KM south of Odessa. I do think the whole Moldova/Transnistria thing is simply a diversion/feint to help prevent massing counter forces in the east where the real russian threat is.

I think they are interested in eliminating the air defenses there. Potentially allowing their air force to be more active along the coast and in the black sea.

Certainly looks like a Grigorovich-class frigate. Superstructure and outline are a pretty good match.

Don't see any differences between the stock photos and the video. It matches the size and silhouette.

The wind is currently 7 knots out of NE 26degrees with 1-2M wave height earlier. this would put ship on a heading of about 116 degrees E/SE. FWIW it was 17 knots when the first report came out.

It does look like its listing a bit to starboard. It is hard to tell if underway, cant really see a wake in the video or elevated bow. The radar is still spinning so it at least has auxiliary power.
