The first warm, sunny days of spring in the southern Mykolaiv region are ushering in a grim new reality: the smell of the dead.
As the frost melts and ground thaws, the bodies of Russian soldiers strewn across the landscape are becoming a problem.

True, I wonder where they learned it from? Straight out of the box and ready to go. Little refinement necessary. Nobody gets something that complex right that fast unless they have had lots of help. Lots of experienced propagandist in the US thee days too.W said:

NEWS, w/ @barbarastarrcnn: A rare face-to-face meeting between Russian and US military officials last week led to an “outburst” of emotion from a normally stoic Russian general, according to a closely held US military readout https://t.co/wODZfcZCRE
— Jeremy Herb (@jeremyherb) March 23, 2022
The readout makes particular note of the behavior of Maj Gen Yevgeny Ilyin, who has a history of dealing w/ US. As the meeting was breaking up, one attaché "casually inquired” about his family roots in Ukraine, and his “stoic demeanor suddenly became flushed and agitated.”

A Chechen captured by Azov fighters called on his compatriots to jihad against Russia. He reminded that Ukrainians helped in the struggle for independence of the Chechen Republic ..., emphasizing that we should not fight with Ukraine on the side of bloody Russia,
…..and yet there he is caught fighting in Ukraine and now saying anything just to survive.Rosstafari said:Translated...

Now in the #Kyiv region there are about 12 thousand #Russian soldiers

This was stated by the adviser to the head of the presidential office Alexei Arestovich.
“Of these, 3.000 are almost surrounded, another 4.000 are cut off and are in a very unpleasant place,” he said. pic.twitter.com/ZPWi5LN55T

One of the Kremlin’s negotiating demands. “Russia…wants Ukraine to reduce its army to 50,000, a fifth of its current size. After a month of bloody sacrifice, few in Ukraine are anywhere near ready to agree to such a cut” https://t.co/LhAAclaKT4

You gotta admit the Russians have chutzpah. They're getting their asses kicked, but making demands like they're on the verge of victory. Time is not on their side.deddog said:They should also demand World Peace while they are at it.Rosstafari said:One of the Kremlin’s negotiating demands. “Russia…wants Ukraine to reduce its army to 50,000, a fifth of its current size. Why would Ukraine ever agree to cut any of their military? They're literally in the middle of fighting off an invasion. Russia cannot seriously believe that's going to happen, and so it has to be a negotiating tactic.Rosstafari said:One of the Kremlin’s negotiating demands. “Russia…wants Ukraine to reduce its army to 50,000, a fifth of its current size. BREAKING: The UK Government will provide 6,000 new defensive missiles to Ukraine & over $30m in military aid, per a statement.
— Jack Detsch (@JackDetsch) March 23, 2022
This more than doubles defensive lethal aid provided by UK to Ukraine to over 10,000 missiles. UK also working to provide longer-range targeting & intel
The thing that's really bizarre is that this has been Soviet/Russian doctrine since before WWII. Soviet tanks and aircraft often lacked 2-way radios. Battlefield comms were frequently limited to hand signals.AgBQ-00 said:MeatDr said:

That is sheer incompetence. Comms and logistics are as important as it gets and they decide to go with trying to half ass both of them
