Considering the disaster in Ukraine, I was hoping someone in the army leadership should have put a bullet in Putins head by now.
Or, Maybe Ukraine is a disaster because Putin got rid of any army leadership that was worth anything, and is now only surrounded by rich, fat sycophants

Putin promised the ccp that it would get done quickly. He didn't hold up his end. They are in damage control mode.

Tells me Russia is losing, badly. China, really the CCP, is always looking for a deal and a way to increase their relevance and power. Either Russia was going to repeat Georgia and Crimea and then the CCP would move on Taiwan or Russia would fail and the CCP wi try to fill the Eastern European power vacuum and maybe even make a move in Eastern Russia. Right now Russia is looking like a patsy for the CCP to play "good guy".

They have their fingers in Italian clothing, African raw materials and even mines in the US. They keep the money we spend on their junk working.

I don't take much prideful stock in this. Do not compare the US vs some illiterate yokels to the US vs. a modern military in a direct, somewhat proportionally organized conflict. Would I expect the US to wipe the floor with them? Absolutely. Would I expect it to be an easier time as backwaters like Afghanistan and Iraq? No.

I can watch videos of dead terrorists or grown soldiers and be pretty unphased..

But since I've got kids of my own, 3 under 4, I cant watch those poor kids in warzones, completely innocent and not think of my own if we were unfortunate enough to be in that situation.

It's horrible. I wish we could just all treat eachother like humans.

We are treating each other like humans. Despite the tech its consistent with history. We've always had war many of them worse than this one.

This has been debunked at least once, not saying he is not dead now but Russian bots are alive and well. Don't be shocked if they did bomb that theatre and there are a high number of casualties, both sides are playing the trolling game
