Belarus voted 70% against Lukashenko in the last presidential election and Putin had to help him quiet the protests when he announced he had won by a landslide. So the people of Belarus by and large don't like their own dictator, much less Russia's dictator, and they sure as hell don't want to die for either of them. Seems like Belarusian soldiers would be even less motivated to fight over Ukraine than Russian ones.

Would be dumb because a lot of it could just a result be destroyed in place. That's a very expensive gamble.

It's because the US has reason to want people to believe it's true. Actual truth is a whole other matter entirely to these people.

ETA- take for example the story of the two Il-76 transports full of paratroopers that were reported to have been shot down. Rubio was even talking about it. It's now obvious that it never happened.

I'd just like to make it a point that one would have been believable imo. Two was not and a lot of people's BS radars were pegged. I'm basically at the point that I need to see the wreckage for that and any major claims. The disinformation campaign really cranked up around then imo.

Russians have always been big on amphibious vehicles. Amphibious with little to no preparation. Obviously a tank isn't amphibious like an armored personnel carrier but still

There was explosions earlier. Don't speak of what you don't know. Big flash and every car alarm started going off. And there were tracer rounds.

Of course that is not only on the table, that's the plan. Civilians who do not leave because the are firefighters, police officers, work in the City administration, etc. essential workers, will stay.

Then they will bombed into rubble. That is what Russia does. They are locusts that swarm and leave nothing of cities behind.

Saw it, the video on the bottom right. You can see smoke now from the building on the right, and it was tracer fire not the snow in the video top right…

Why do you say that?

It took me a little while to spot amongst the lights. It's the lower right feed, and you can see a bright light and smoke.
Also a couple of car alarms going off.

Also, why the heck is everything lit up in Kiev? The oldest rule i knew growing up was complete blackout so the enemy has no visual aid.
