Openly threatening to murder uniformed combatants who have surrendered is reprehensible.

So is said uniformed combatants knowingly firing on civilians who are fleeing or have been told they're being provided safe passage (happening). Note, I'm not in support of either.

Even if that's true, one war crime does not justify another.

The Russian artillerymen are committing war crimes. They would likely face execution in the ICC anyway.

I don't believe the ICC has capital punishment as a sentence.

Which is why I said that I don't support it. But I understand why they would feel that way. If someone blew up your family and then surrendered to save their sorry asses, you'd want to smoke them too.

Yep, it's one thing to feel that way and act on it, it's another to put that in a standing order from military command.

Differs from some earlier reporting about Kherson falling. Guess it depends on what you consider "fallen".

My guess is it's more of a tactic to increase Russian desertion since it was highly publicized.

My mistake. Wienies. They seldom impose sentences longer than 30 years, either.

And Ukraine abolished their death penalty too.

To put this in perspective, the Dow lost roughly 90% of its value during the Great Depression, but it took nearly three years for it to happen.

Special forces insertion? Or special delivery supply drop? FYI, they just turned off their transponder right after I snapped this capture.

No tankers or E-3s squawking for a while now...just Forte10 taking a look at Kaliningrad and then coming back to fly to Polish Border near Belarus.

Wouldn't shock me if we have some guys on the ground, but I doubt that transponder ever comes on if they're involved

C17s and 130s from UK have been going nonstop into Poland. We have had a ton from Germany as well but the last 48 hours not so much at least with transponders on. Yesterday two of our C17s met up off the coast of Maine eastbound but squawked off just into the atlantic.

So can you snap a capture of it? Are you talking about Forte10? Or the Blackhawk headed towards Ukraine?

Might need to keep it on until that get close to the border if the Polish are on high alert...

Does anyone have any info of non-weapon supplies streaming in the Ukraine? Food, fuel, medicine, etc. There better be a massive current flowing to the defenders, that can be reached, by now.
Just a bit from personal experience. A consultant buddy of mine represents some Ukrainian companies (he's a former federal official in a prior administration) and has been in daily communication with them and the Ukrainian consul in Houston. He's organized a shipment of donated medical supplies and 5,000 helmets and vests for medical personnel. It's being FedExed to Poland and distributed from there. I can only assume there are a number of like-minded initiatives throughout the West.

Not subscribed to TexAgs so I can't post a picture. And no I was talking about Duke 43. It's off the tracker now for me.

If they were going to be doing something covertly going over the border, I am highly doubtful that the we would ever see it.

Anybody can post a pic on Texags. Just have to use imgur instead of the Texags image loader.

Doubt that is accurate - they are balancing their on China as well. This would be a bit much for them. Abe recently commented something to the effect of recognizing and defending Taiwan.

What was that about history repeating itself? Successfully stay out of a war in Europe until Japan drags us into it? Russia might wish they hadn't sent all the eastern Asia troops over to fight in Ukraine.

Sorry if this has already been posted but I haven't kept up today. We have a surveillance drone that's been sweeping the borders all day. It boggles me that transponders for military aircraft are active during operations such as this.
