I don't want idiocracy. I don't think she's a good candidate either. I voted for Marvin Summers yesterday because I thought a dead guy was the least bad option on the ballot.

ETA: and i say this as someone who has to appear before the commission on a semi-regular basis.

From covering the race, most people view Slocum as infinitely superior than Christian (obviously the least qualified), but his messaging didn't distance himself quite as much as Stogner did. She really went after his record of going after landowners and Texas residents. Slocum went after Christian on well-plugging issues, which didn't resonate quite as much.
