Dinesh D'Souza and James O'Keefe.......wake me up when one of these "bombshell" investigations actually turns into something useful. Not that I don't appreciate their work and effort but I'm not expecting anything to come from this.
Does informing Americans count as "anything"? Because it does in my book.
No one is going to watch this movie that isn't already a "believer".
More to the point, I can point my friends to a web site with detailed information. They'll at least consider it and see if it checks out.
I have a 0% chance of getting them to watch a friggin' movie.
Then I would say your friends are not the statistical norm. Videos of people stuffing ballot boxes is fairly compelling. So are maps showing the paths of the mules based on cell phone data. Just the preview alone is the type of thing that could go viral.
I guess your friends will have to wait for the spreadsheet version. They sound like accountants. If so, I'm sure they have patience and can wait.
Yes, a video with a proper explanation on a web site and full cites and sourcing is compelling.
Burying it in a movie isn't.
Make a full and appropriate professional case. Make it ironclad. Make it irrefutable.
Won't do any good though. Many don't read, and there are legions of actively dishonest writers in the press to counter any report. And the DOJ is more corrupt than any third world government. Its the rank and file you want to reach and believe this, and who knows, the movie may make it clear enough.
Come November people are going to want to hoist on the petard the wreckers of the economy, streets, schools, and everything else, so if there is some visual image they have in mind to prevent repeat cheating it might prove useful.
