So last month my umm, 'friend's' company announced that all employees must be vaxxed by Feb. 4 or they'd 'face discipline up to & including termination'.

My errr 'friend' is a conservative badass so naturally he's been doing the 'shall not comply' thing for the past month, staying off the radar with his opinion on the matter and hoping that it gets struck down in the courts before the deadline or that the company will blink first and back down.

Doesn't look like either of those things are going to happen, so now my umm 'friend' is thinking of bending the knee for the almighty paycheck.

Since my friend hasn't paid hardly any attention to all the vaccine noise, he's clueless on which one he should get. Any recommendations? J&J? Moderna? Others?

Unless Novavax get their EAU soon, he will have to take one of the experiential gene therapies. Probably J&J is the safest because it doesn't seem to cause the heart problems like Pfizer is known for. Avoid Pfizer like the poison that it is.

I wouldn't touch Moderna either, but the government's obsession with all things Pfizer makes me never want to touch their products again. I'd take a bullet before taking a Pfizer shot.

Stop complying. They will back down or lose hard working freedom loving employees.

Any company pushing that b.s. would not be a company I would work for. Paycheck is not an excuse when there are numerous alternatives that are not mandating it.

Think carefully about faking a card. Once ETS gets pushed through, we've already seen that they are changing definitions on what is "vaccinated". Hope your company is just box checking, but sounds like they are strong arming so they may also be spot checking.

Usually by the lot numbers. Since I have experience in medical and pharmaceutical logistics I can ID bogus ones or see things that don't add up. Also, it's not hard to have it verified if it's pushed by company health insurance. They often want immunization records, not just your card.

My hope is that the rumors are true and the Army continues assisting the CDC in a digital record so we can move to what Europe has with digital versions that are hard to fake.

If you're going to get one get the one that actually works. Moderna has the best protection. At least make the reward worth the risk. I reluctantly got vaxxed but my health situation drastically changed so I needed protection from significant illness. I doubt I get any more Covid shots though

I'm not sure why everyone thinks that faking the card is so easy to get away with. HR departments have been talking about this for months. If your company decides to look, they will catch a fake.

Not necessarily a passport, since I don't support mandates. However, a digital immunization record is a good idea as it protects HR departments from felony activity.
