It’s too early to say what the Russian people make of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, but he’s already lost a few celebrities. Most of these guys rely heavily on the state for their living.

Except Turkey didn't do it and Russia had already moved its ships it needed into the Black sea.

Us leaving Afghanistan and Biden removing sanctions opened all of this up. Gates was right, Biden cannot get anything right on international policy

Lots of things. It's niave to think a single variable no matter how significant made a difference. I really want to know what Trump would have done that Biden didn't to stop this from happening. Something about construction of a pipeline being shut down under President Trump. Then President Biden promoting its construction by Russia. Or additional international sanctions. Or the sending of lethal aid to Ukraine instead of blankets. Or the fact that NATO countries began increasing funding for defense while President Trump was in office. Or the completely incompetent withdrawal from Afghanistan exposing President Biden and his administration total failure and President Biden as a failure as a leader. That's just a brief list.

People are falling into the belief that there are no actions that could be taken other than sending in U.S. or NATO troops.
