They were brought in to fight the Azov, who are just as crazy themselves. Think of them like Atomwaffen or O9A level crazy. That is, they aren't just normal Ukrainian white nationalists and are themselves known for committing war crimes.

Germany can't supply what it doesn't have. There should be severe consequences for not being able to field any sort of defense force while leeching off NATO.

There are other options besides nukes. Crippling cyber attacks, ot even popping off an EMP would have disastrous effects that would destabilize nations. Or. If there's blood in the water. NK or China launching their own aggressive asymmetrical attacks. From sabotage etc... a full frontal tmattavk doesn't need to occur in order to create chaos.

Which is why I mentioned ejecting everyone with a Russian visa.

I truly wonder what is actually going on here, other than Putin possibly losing his mind. NATO is not and never has been a threat to Russia. NATO is not ever going to launch an offensive against Russia other than in self defense, and Putin knows that. However, Ukraine was part of the USSR, and Putin wants it as part of his Russian Empire. Therefore, he must take it before it becomes part of NATO's protection. He is an imperialistic mad man. But threatening Sweden and Finland makes no sense. The best thing for Russia and the world would be for Putin and Xi to expire simultaneously.

I just read elsewhere that the power plant is still up and running (still under attack though) but power was cut for security reasons.
