Hand is dark with soot
Looks like that to me. I'm not a medical examiner but I did stay at Holiday Inn Express last night.TRADUCTOR said:
So Kyle had not raised the barrel when pedo reached for the barrel. Bullet trajectory was down thru the hand hit pavement and bounced fragmenting into his leg. Pedo was definitely attacking.

I may have missed the answer to this before, but it was said that the judge changed procedures after deleting a video of the jurors. What were those procedure changes? I'm very nervous about the jury bias/intimidation. What can the judge do if he feels the jury acted in bad faith or under intimidation? Can he throw out their verdict?
Asking as a layperson. Thanks.

Is it just me? Or do these exit wounds seem smaller than expected?
If serious, Judge can independently voir dire each juror and could declare a mistrial.Waffledynamics said:

Poor kid. He looks visibly upset. Pale and as if he is about to throw up. Not even looking at any of the exhibits.
Thanks. Guess I have watched too many crime scene shows.GarryowenAg said:aggiehawg said:

These wounds are typical for .223/5.56 rounds.
ETA: at such close range, the rounds are moving extremely fast and punch through an object as opposed to tumbling and causing more damage.

No. Jury apparently has been congregating somewhere to board a bus to be brought to the courthouse. Certainly the judge would not announce where and how that procedure will be changed in open court.Waffledynamics said:aggiehawg said:If serious, Judge can independently voir dire each juror and could declare a mistrial.Waffledynamics said:

Thanks, and yes, I'm serious. This is interesting to keep track of.
No further answer on the procedure changes?
5.56 will do lots of damage. Bullet will "tumble" once it enters causing more damage than if it went straight through. Shot to the pelvis probably was enough to stop him. Break the pelvis and one can't walk. A LEO buddy of mine said they had been trained on this.aggiehawg said:
Again, another bullet that went through the body but no exit, bullet still lodged inside and under the skin.
