Eastern Europe is a good bet. They know what socialism looks like and they don't want to return to it.
Ukraine is pretty awesome and cheap, my best friend lives in Poland and have great procreation rights...also relatively inexpensive with usd.KirakiraYugoRU said:
I've decided it would be best for me to leave and go to another country. I'm absolutely serious, I'm wanting to go to an Eastern European country like Poland, Russia, et al, but I've also been giving a lot of thought to Ireland because like with Poland/Russia/etc because I love that culture too and it seems like a rural area of Ireland would be perfect for a classical Victorian type lifestyle (I have pretty much abandoned punk rock entirely at this point, so that's not a concern anymore) but I've been getting a lot of conflicting information as to whether it would be any better than the US in regards to authoritarianism and leftist ideology.
I have better sources, though, stating that former Soviet countries are very anti-communist, and for good reason. Poland, of all of them, seems to be the country most resistant to identity politics and SJW crap, communist agendas and covid cultists.
I really can't decide which country would be best for someone like me, who's mostly Victorian lady with a berserker mindset.
But even if I figured out which country I wanted to pick I wouldn't know what to do to go there anyway. I'm not college material, like at all. I wouldn't call myself stupid, but I'm certainly not cut out for college life in any capacity. I really don't know what my options are. Online dating and trying to find a traditional gentleman is proving to be a major exercise in futility. I fear I'm going to be trapped in a crumbling, dying country my whole life until I die at the hands of the authoritarian regime currently taking over.
Please don't try to convince me to stay, because it's more than just the tyranny that's made me want to leave (though that is a HUUUUGEEE part of it). I just need help leaving the US while I still can before we become like Australia or China or something even worse I hadn't imagined.

Stick with Poland.
You should look at her post history. I think suggesting finding a mental health professional is a better route than indulging the fantasies.Corn Pop said:
This seems like a Tanya/attention seeking troll post, or you killed someone.
Texags is not a mental health institution, and neither is the internet.Malibu2 said:
Wholesale change of language, culture, and family is an enormously drastic life altering decision that should never be made lightly, no least for notions of looking for a Victorian lifestyle. Wherever you flee that isn't the US, you'll likely encounter the same things there. At the very least you'll be the same person, with the same foibles as before, but without the network of friends and family for support. I would strongly suggest reaching out to conservative and licensed counseling, religious or otherwise, before jumping into something like this headfirst.
To other TexAgers, remember there might be a slightly in need of help woman at the end of the computer. If this isn't a troll, this post screams more cry for help than asking advice. In that case, can we tap the breaks on snark and derision?

So is this the new "post quotes from a fake, secret, impenetrable online message board that makes welfare queens look as bad as possible?"
Instagram and Tumblr too! (Twitter would, but I don't use Twitter. When I write Twitter by the way, I prefer to substitute an A for the I, but I obviously can't make that joke on Texags because filter.)scottimus said:

Ok, maybe "berserker" wasn't the best phrasing cause that conjures up images of Skyrim and D&D instead of like a rogue warrior, but everyone's used the wrong word before. I don't know what other word I'd use however.YouBet said:Can I hear more about this? How are you defining berserker? Like D&D kind of berserker?Quote:

I was thinking an ancient shock trooper who bites shields and attacks the hardest defenses while foaming at the mouth and wearing victorian dresses.
Please don't take this mental image away from me....
