Where has anyone said a booster will be needed for covid "every" 6-8 months? And while not 12 months, the polio vaccine requires three shots in 18 months.

I always make life changing medical decisions for my unborn children by asking a bunch of random idiots on the internet instead of the doctor treating my family.

OP, the wife and I had our first child 7 weeks ago. We had a very rational and intelligent OB. When my wife asked about the covid vaccine early on the in the pregnancy, the OB was reluctant to recommend adding an unknown variable to otherwise healthy pregnancy. She was adamant that if there could be only one proactive action to take as new parents, it would be to get the tdap.

As far as the scheduled vaccinations for the baby, we were hesitant at first, and I blame that on the sour taste left from this covid vaccine disaster. Ultimately we could not find any logical reasons not to go through with it, there is just so much data backing up the benefits of standard child vaccinations.

If you have a good doc that deals in logic and takes the time to explain things, you'll be in good shape.

Neither of us have gotten a covid vax. Both have gotten our TDaP.

Has there been an approved mRNA vaccine besides this one? Saying they've been around 30 years is an absolute lie if they haven't been thoroughly tested and approved.

Hep b. 3 doses in 6 months

Rotavirus. 2, 4, 6

I'm assume these vaccines were refined for their dosage as they administered them and gathered more real time data. That's an assumption as I am unable to find the origin of the dosage interval for these.
