I just got this text from my Army buddy who still has contacts on the ground over there:

"Tell all SIV to leave HKIA immediately. All gates are closed and controlled by the Taliban. West gate near the petrol station is taking AMCITS only. The purge is starting, execution reports coming in fast and furious."

There are apparently civilians of all nationalities that could not get out.

On the military side it looks like only the US is left.

It also looks like the Taliban and Turkey have worked out a deal for running the airport after we are gone.
