Yep, much easier to defend and doesn't have a city crowded on top of it. Hold bagram and chopper everyone there, carpet bomb after the last plane leaves.

Listening to the feed Aggiehawg posted earlier. Former CIA fellow on the feed said that last night a group of missionaries escorting many Afghan children had been moved by military commanders (US) from inside the wire to outside and were likely in the area of one of the bombs.

Stomach churning if true.

He'll get that and more. Politically there's no way to fight out. I have no clue how many servicemen are still there but at this point I can't imagine sending anything fixed wing in. But anything rotary is a sitting duck and Chinooks don't carry that many people at a time.

Sam Faddis, former CIA is on with Bannon. He says the Turks had been providing perimeter security outside the airport but they pulled out and no one replaced them.

He also reported that a General from the 82nd Airborne ordered a group of missionaries with Afghan children who were on the airport grounds to go back outside to wait for their charter flight to get there. They were supposedly outside the gate where the explosion occurred, Abbey Gate.

He's also saying the gates have been welded shut and no one else will be allowed into the airport.

If they start mortaring the airstrip, there are only two options. Rotary wing exfil or driving out to ****ing Pakistan. And trying to exfil on helos while under indirect fire is absolutely going to be a no go. Which leaves us trying to saddle up thousands of us troops to drive to Peshawar. That is truly a nightmare scenario

Faddis now saying his sources says it was 100 missionaries with 300 Afghan children.

No way there's enough vehicles to get over 5,000 servicemen out.

As disorganized as the Taliban, ISIS, and whoever else claims to be out there are I'm surprised nobody has gotten a wild hair up their ass and decided to start shelling the airport already.
