They were holed up in a building 200 yards from the airport. Two hundred yards!!!!!

JSOC operations has to be underway right now Kabul. BLKWF13, Bombardier E-11A, is an air support system (AKA WIFI in the sky) used by JSOC to insure communications between special operators. This plane has been flying over Kabul for quite a while and the number C130's has increased activity into and out of the airport.

Hmm. --- international troops from all over the world. Somewhat agreed on their mission. Have you read Starship Troopers? Heinlein wrote about the arrival of a meritocracy because vets turned against self-serving and venal politicians. That fits the US. at the present in the reaction of those green berets and delta, but fortunately not the other European govts there it seems. So far. But its tantalizingly close and something to reflect upon in the future.

Since this started.
The US news media has had terrible coverage.
Almost ZERO coverage until the Taliban was surrounding Kabul.

Sadly Twitter and a few other sites are the only source to get any news.
That said, you are right to be suspect, but incorrect in trusting any media to be more accurate.

Multiple times we have seen national US media post fake video and photos not just of this but other stories as well.

I can only post what I find, I can't vet everything I run across.
I do not post anything I know is already old footage.

I wonder if that might be footage from Israel vs Syria.

I wish there was a way to reverse search video like you can with photos.

There has been some on other sites but nowhere near the amount of content on Twitter.

She really was not safe there. A blonde western woman in the middle of an Islamic revolution is just not a good combination, and at some point odds are it would have turned out bad for her.
