I'm so sorry

News media is keeping it hush hush, but OBs are seeing a high number of miscarriages for those who take the mRNA vaccine.
I'm sorry for your loss...jopatura said:
I've gotten pregnant and had a miscarriage since having my vaccine. No prior history, two other kids. OB said that it's possible it was the vaccine, but I'm also 34 and that kind of thing increases as you get older. She said if I have another miscarriage, they can start trying to determine what the issue is.
I am second-guessing my decision a little and it's made me even less likely to run out and get it for my existing kids right away.

Sorry to hear about miscarriages in any context. It's a painful outcome that has women second guessing and blaming themselves far too much. It's rarely, if ever, their fault and just an unfortunate and ugly part of life.
That said, they happen. There are plenty of pregnant people that have had the shot and are still having normal pregnancies. My own sister is currently 4 months pregnant and received the Moderna vaccine prior to getting pregnant.

Agree, they do happen.
Just how like old people and heavily overweight people die every day with our without COVID.
There are plenty of people too who have lived (both old and / or with comorbidities) with COVID infections too.

The difference there of course if that it is easily proven that Covid is the cause of death in cases where people died of Covid. That is not the case for vaccines and miscarriages.
It would be silly to say Covid is not real because death is real.

Not easily proven or disproven. Not much testing done on that. We sorta skipped the whole long-term effects thing.
Yet, we encourage pregnant individuals to get the shot....not sure that makes sense. Same as making healthy / low risk people get them too...

It's because the shots have been tested and proven safe.

Relatively proven. Relatively safe.
Enough to shoot up kids, pregnant women and young, healthy individuals? To each their own but Daddy Pharma and Government need it to happen to keep the $$$ rolling....

The spike protein appears to hang around indefinitely with the vaccine, so better to get the covid than the vaccine if playing the odds for young folks.

No. I don't know the long term effects....of either. Nobody does. Will take my chances with mother nature. Same with my kids.
To be clear, I did encourage and support my parents getting the vaccine. They are 70s and in ok-ish health. I have never once told someone to NOT get the vaccine. When my staff asked to go do it, I encouraged it and offered to let them just take the whole day off and worked with one who had 2 days of rough side effects.
My issue is pretending there is a 100% right answer and that everyone has to get the vaccine b/c its the only right choice. That is not accurate. The vaccine is not 100% proven no matter what anyone says. So why would someone perfectly healthy, young or pregnant get it or feel forced to get it??? I disagree with that...

Nothing in life is proven or guaranteed.
However, it's a pretty clear answer to me to choose a small batch of spike proteins generated by a shot over a large batch of spike proteins attached to a self replicating system. If you're going to get spike proteins either way even if the spike proteins are proven to be dangerous, why wouldn't the shot be the lower risk?

Subdural hematoma is usually caused by a head injury, no?. At least in my experience as a coach that's what were trained on.
