I'm pro-choice on vaccines, so more power to you if you don't choose to get it.
That said, my parents (83 & 80) both got the Pfizer vaccine and never had any reaction other than a sore arm.
Then I got the Pfizer a few weeks later and also never had any reaction other than a sore arm.
GeographyAg himself got the Moderna instead of the Pfizer. He had 8 hours of fever and then felt fine and has had no other symptoms in the months since.
None of us have any regrets so far, but of course there are risks to anything.
The COVID itself would probably be deadly for my parents - both have serious health issues. I'm very grateful they never got it before getting the vaccine.
We all decided we feared the side-effects from getting COVID (blood clots, heart damage, lung problems) more than we feared the risks of the vaccine.
But it's a choice for everyone to make for themselves.
The one thing I really don't like is fear-mongering one way or the other.
Get it, don't get it, I don't care. I don't ask, I don't tell. I just live and let live.
We are all anti vaccine passport.
If I’m posting, it’s actually Mrs GeographyAg.
