Honest question, why would you allow a 6 and 8 year old to get the vaccine when zero kids their age are dying from the virus, the vast majority no bad symptoms at all?
Because they are around immunocompromised older folk that can't get vaccinated. And kids being out sick, even if mild, isn't worth taking PTO over so I'll shoot them up with every vaccine under the sun.
But the main benefit to getting vaccinated is to mitigate symptoms. There is no evidence that those vaccinated can't spread it. They certainly can contract it.
