The summary is that the defense was able to freely put his tube in the prosecutors airway.Cactus Jack said:
I'll have to rewind and hear what he said about the tube.
they are hard to hear on the CourtTV feed as well.Tree Hugger said:
I was watching this on CNN but never heard any of the objections, so I guess they are editing their feed? Or disnI just miss them?

Why would he be in the fetal position? I only saw the defense cross but he seemed pretty composed at that point and answered the questions.aggiehawg said:LOL.DallasAg 94 said:

Oh, you're right. Defense objected so she asked if he appeared to be in cardiac arrest.FriscoKid said:No, one time she said "was he dead when you arrived?"agracer said:actually she said "Was he in cardiac arrest" to which the witness replied "as we later learned, yes".NASAg03 said:

The media will be responsible for the burnings because they are not being honest.Cactus Jack said:

So much of the outrage and destruction could be mitigated if they were just honest about all the facts.

The points that the state wanted him to make were not made convincingly and Nelson was able to dissect them effectively.agracer said:Why would he be in the fetal position? I'll ask again: after continued evidence piles up benefitting the defense, can someone point me to something, anything, that shows the leg on neck killed Floyd?

Early this morning before court convened, the audio was on. Cahill (off camera) was talking to one of the prosecution team about the scheduling of witnesses for the rest of the week. Prosecutor said he had medical testimony scheduled for Friday he named the doctor but I was unfamiliar with the name, maybe an expert. The Fife said:
So who else does the prosecution have lined up for today to help blow up their argument, and how long before things are so bad they just punt?
the prosecution's case is far from done.Good Poster said:

That being said, some trauma to the larynx area is quite possible especially considering he did it twice. Even intubation for routine surgeries in very controlled, still environments can cause trauma. Again, haven't read the ME reports, but if prosecution is going to suggest evidence of airway trauma (at least above the trachea) I think the defense may have just mitigated it.Cactus Jack said:
About the airway device. Rewound and saw the picture.
It was a supraglottic airway. Does not advance to the trachea. A size too small means it was not getting a good seal.
Trying to find a good picture to demonstrate what it is. Hopefully this works.
Something else to keep in mind is that these are designed to cause as little trauma as possible and are used by people without extensive training in intubation. They are very soft.
If the ME report or other autopsy suggests trauma to the trachea or below, it likely wasn't caused by this tube. The ET tube put in at the hospital is much more likely to cause airway trauma.
Coordinating talking points, stand by until 11:30 pm please.aginlakeway said:
