It's not a deflection, it is an explanation. Two of the candidates suck more than the other.
No, it's your excuse for the cheating your party is doing.

Democrats don't control the election, this is Georgia.
Your buddy Stacey Abrams says hi. She was allowed by Raffensperger to basically set the rules for both the Presidential election, and this one. Everything she demanded, he agreed with and implemented.

Can someone tell me why anyone in good faith could vote for him?

I disagree with Ossoff on policy but that's it. Warnock on the other hand is objectively a bad person.

That is the depth of why the Democrats voted for him.

What is the answer on healthcare you think americans want?

I don't have that answer, or else I would be in healthcare policy.
Great example of lib thinking.

I don't know what I want, just an answer to this question. Muh healthcare! Muh immigration! Muh free education! Muh minimum wage! Muh capitalism is evil!

I have questions! I want answers! But I has no ideas!

Or maybe I don't want to debate health care policy with my thumbs on a thread about Senate elections at 11pm. Read between the lines/Get over yourself.

No it's the first one, you're just a quintessential liberal wanting to complain about everything and not even knowing what it is you want. You are getting absolutely owned tonight. It may be time for you to just scoot on out of here.

Again with the delusion. I will wrap the most pertinent points on this thread.

The Republicans legitimately lost

Because fewer people voted for them

Because either their platform or campaigns were not appealing enough

It doesn't even sound like fking rocket science guys.

Once again....do you believe that losing means one's policies are inferior? Or could one win with worse policies than their opposition simply because people are stupid?
I genuinely think most people are stupid.

Most people are, and have historically been, stupid. Yes, the "wrong" policies or people can be elected. There are some ways around this for the Not Stupids, like bureaucracies that persist, institutions, checks and balances, and a lot of people having no clue what their representatives are actually doing anyway. But since everyone is pulling from the same population, everyone is equally hamstrung. And people are stupid on both sides in different ways. So in the end I do think it comes back to being able to engage with *enough* people in a way that they see either their values represented in you, or a benefit to them, or both. You can't say "well there are more stupid people so they voted for the stupid party". That's really a very immature way to look at politics.

You'd think so, until you look at what the two parties stand for. Hard work, opportunity, getting the government out of the way vs. handouts, catering to lies about victim hood and promising to take from
The more successful to give to the lazy and pathetic.

It's fine to vote for someone because they're black. Not ok to vote for someone because they're a white male.

GA SoS goes on CNN to tip off dems how much they need to cheat by. He stresses how important the 17k military ballots coming in overseas on Friday. Dems must work fast to offset that!!!

You totally misinterpreted that.

There aren't 17K pro-GOP military ballots. There are up to 17K ballots from Georgians living overseas, including military. A lot of those people will be ex-pats and foreign service govt. employees, which tend to vote D.

If I recall correctly, Biden gained votes among "overseas and military."

It's not a deflection, it is an explanation. Two of the candidates suck more than the other.

Just a reminder that Warnock

1) hit his estranged wife with his car after a recent argument
2) not just pro-choice but wants abortion on demand (that's ok to you though)
3) was arrested for obstructing a child abuse issue at his Church's child summer camp. Staff threw urine on kids and he shut the investigation down

But sure, he's a great upstanding guy that doesn't own stocks.

Well I was more curious about policy thoughts but it is becoming clear that there was no coherent argument present. Generally when someone presents a major example you'd think they would manage more than a single vague sentence, but in the end you pivoted to a more generic argument that can't really be discussed.

I wish Democrats had a Roy Moore moment and put character ahead of party if the behavior was egregious enough.

When Republicans in deep red Alabama decided not to turn out and vote for him because his sexual scandals were too much for voters.

(I don't want to re hash Moore and get into that but it was good to see that people wouldn't vote for their preferred party at any costs)

A point of interest. The total vote in the Senate races is almost identical, the difference being less than 100 votes.

The total vote in the other race for the Public Service Commission District 4 has about 46,000 fewer total votes.

Although the total vote was 46,000 fewer, Lauren Bubba McDonald has 2,208,570; more than any one the Senate candidates.

In the race for commissioner, the Republican has a lead of about 87,000 votes. In a race with 46,000 fewer votes, Lauren Bubba McDonald was 2,208,570 votes, more than any of the Senate candidates. The Democrat running for commissioner has about 60 to 80 thousand votes less than the Dem Senate candidates.

And I'd bet the difference is all out of the Atlanta area.

Does Lauren Bubba McDonald use insider classified information to trade stocks?

Based on numbers im seeing with Fulton and DeKalb still not 100%, Ossof will net 45,000 and Purdue 12,000. Unless there are some heavy red counties still not reporting 100%, dems are going to win control.

It's right in the campaign website? https://joebiden.com/covid19/

I'm not here to debate the content, just the importance to the platform. People who think Trump isn't taking it seriously enough will be more likely to vote D.

All you're arguing is that people are easily manipulated.

Not really. It's just more vague generalities. Do you want the federal government to dictate covid response to states, counties and cities? What about covid management would be considered a positive change outside of trump's dumb communication habits.

If the improvement for healthcare involves a public option I am curious how anyone anticipates such a system could coexist with anything even remotely similar to what we currently use or if you anticipate complete upheaval of our current system as part of the process.

You know what the worst part of all this **** is? The slowness as it gets down to the wire. It's like they want to drag it out and torture people.

**** the Democrats, and **** the "vote counters" that do this stuff. There needs to be reform, by force, in this country. Never allow these sham "elections" to happen this way again.
