The number of states joining this, makes it that much more credible and unconscionable for the SC to refused to hear the case.

Not burying my head in sand. Just stating the 2020 election isn't going to get overturned. And just another 48 hours before the EC nail is hammered in.

That is what's going to happen. Now maybe some of this stuff going on will have an impact on how future elections are conducted, but 2020 has about run its course.

He's not making it easy for the S.Ct. to rule for him by blasting what they should do if they have great Wisdom and Courage. Just be quiet about the Court (while still going off on the stolen election and fraud), and that way if they decide for you they don't look like they are doing as, err, bidden. The Court wants to avoid the appearance of partiality.

Obviously this wasn't meant for the S.Ct. though, but for his audience.

This is grand--- fully HALF of the United States are on board. They need to keep this coalition and beat up on D.C. next year for a change, rather than having things rammed down on the states.

Right, he "made it up." Great argument (which conveniently ignores the mountains of evidence). Interesting that Trump's "lies" have duped multiple states, multiple attorneys and attorneys general, and half the country.

Opinions by some mainstream conservative types seem to be this was a well crafted legal play by TX and co, unlike some of the other challenges that were filed over last several weeks, but since SCOTUS is not going to want to start an actual Civil War, this attempt will also fail (in terms of affecting 2020) and just a question of exactly how the rejection response is delivered over next couple of days.

If they do that, they do more damage to the Republic than actually hearing the case and making a ruling...We are on unprecedented ground here so I don't think anyone knows with any certainty what the SCOTUS would do. They either take this case and keep the Republic in tact, or they dont and just become another arm of the deep state. Thats the position they are in now...

You may be right, probably are, but that doesn't make it right. There has not been a proper investigation and the laws passed by state legislatures were not followed making this election a complete travesty.

Pinche, I'm no troll, been here many years. And I absolutely believe it. The same way that you and many others can believe in the largest scale conspiracy ever dreamed up involving tens of thousands of people, big tech, cooperation of all big media outlets. and foreign powers and an ever evolving list of other things. All fabricated by a man who has claimed fraud in every election, even the one he won.

BTW, the hypocrisy in the lawsuit instigated by Texas is the best example since our very own governor made changes to election procedures without the legislature.

Excellent question...I don't know...

At some point, it has to come down to this:

Is there clear evidence of election fraud in this election or not?

If there is, then I argue that ANY fraud proven, no matter how benign it may seem, raises doubt about the election as a whole, and if there is any "proven" fraud, then the whole process in each state where some form of fraud is "prove" needs to be thrown out because it is tainted...

Having arguments about "okay, so there was fraud, but there wasn't enough to change the outcome" is the wrong way to look at this...

Any fraud "proven" means the whole thing is tainted, and the results simply cannot be trusted...

If the court finds enough evidence that some fraud occurred, then they need to step in and tell the state legislatures to take action and appoint their electors...

Now, the final outcome might still be the same...so be it...

But it at least takes the fraud angle out of it and allows the law to be used to resolve the issue constitutionally...

If you don't, and you just leave this dangling in the wind, you are asking for trouble...
You might as well do away with elections, then.

It would be surprising if there was no state with fraud that could not be proven.

If a political party expected to lose the election, they could just have someone commit fraud and then they could jump up and down and yell "FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD", have the election thrown out, and go to the state legislature.

No election should be overturned unless the actual amount of fraud is proven to have changed the result of the election.

Yeah, if your "election" includes vote by mail. It deserves to be trashed. 45% of the country feels this way, and you rather ignore them.

Setting up for a hot civil war.

I probably could have believed that a political party would sell it's entire soul to try to overturn an election if you'd told me. But I would said you were full of **** if you'd said it would be for Donald Trump. It doesn't even sound plausible and it's happening as we speak. It's like America has a brain parasite.
