Reason to vote in future elections?

If the election stands as is, I don't know if I'll ever vote again. The blatant cheating and election rigging this year has ruined any shred of fairness that our elections seemed to have. What is the purpose of voting if the outcome is already all but decided? I don't think anyone overseas is fighting for our right to vote in unfair elections, nor do I feel it is my civic duty to leave work in order to cast a meaningless vote. Am I wrong for not feeling the need to vote again if we cannot guarantee a fair election?

Sad to say I agree. But it goes way beyond cheating on the voting part of the election.

The fraud started 4 years before the election with everything the left, media, and deep-state did to distort Trump's positions and policies, as well as the integrity and positions held by Biden.

The election fraud is a rounding error on top of all that other fraud. We have crossed over the event horizon. There is no escape.

This is actually my biggest concern right now. Conservatives believe in the electoral process as a means to reign in out of control government. If/when we lose faith in that process our options become severely limited. Right now we're in this bizarro world where the left takes more from us than we should allow because we believe relief is but an election away. When we figure out en masse that elections don't matter that's when I think we'll start to see a real push for violence from the right. It won't be a civil war but rather a revolution. Refer to the wording of The Declaration of Independence. When we realize elections don't matter it's going to be difficult to argue government is not destructive towards of right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Once we reach that realization it's our duty to overthrow this government.

Exactly, OP. It isn't so much about the votes stolen this election as much as it is the next elections. If we have millions that can't trust the results moving forward then we have a problem. It's important to get this one, 2020, right.

The SCOTUS needs to throw out the election results in PA, GA, MI, and WI at a minimum. The delegates can decide from there.

Dems are lying, corrupt, cheating POSs that will do anything to stay in power!
Plus they kill babies with no remorse.
I would vote and support secession by Texas alone or with other states that have similar interests. Can have different political parties or republican, libertarian-type parties.
No democratic parties would be allowed. Dems would be arrested and deported to New York, California, etc. just get the **** out

Vote that's the only weapon (besides the guns you have) against these POSs

Relief will come only after the system collapses. It is already like a tower that has tipped 45 degrees and is accelerating down. All we have at the moment are vicious cycles; no virtuous ones.

Hopefully, once it's on the ground and our kids are sifting through the rubble, they identify the true cause and start anew, giving themselves and their progeny another couple of centuries of liberty.

"I don't think anyone fighting overseas is fighting for our right to vote in unfair elections".

You are so right.

At Thanksgiving lunch I asked my father-in-law what he thought about spending almost his entire adult life in the Air Force fighting for America and against socialism and communism, only to have America turn socialist and communist.

What a horrific sick truth that Americans died, were wounded and horribly disfigured fighting overseas against the very forms of tyranny democrats are trying to subject America to now! Wow!

The fight for American capitalism, freedom and freedom of religion is right here on our soil. Incredibly the SCOTUS just barely affirmed our right to attend church (5-4) if a tyrant governor shut us down over a virus with a 99.8% survival rate!

The American experiment is failing.

I certainly understand the sentiment but I will never give in and just let their "victory" margins increase. As bad as this election is/was, can you imagine if conservatives tuck their tail and hide in future elections. A split government is one thing, but a huge democrat mandate due to stay-at-home voters is an utter disaster.

There is literally zero chance that Joe Biden received 80 million votes. It's insulting to common sense to suggest otherwise.

However, a majority of this country is pretending to believe its legitimacy so as to attain power and control over others. That is sickening. If we don't fix this now, voting in the future will be futile.

The only group of people who could stop them are Republicans. Unfortunately, conservative voters wont vote for conservative politicians that have integrity and will fight.

I understand your viewpoint, but it's impossible since most Republican politicians are corrupt and bought by progressive Democrats. Conservatives have to elect conservatives and then expect and demand results not words.

Is anyone mad at Republican politicians who allowed massive voter fraud and an illegal coup attempt by Democrats to go unpunished?

Just like the left severely underestimated the number of people that would show up to actively vote against Hillary Clinton, I think it's possible some of you are underestimating the people that showed up this time to vote against Donald Trump.

Let's see what happens in Georgia. Obviously if the Dems have figured out a way to cheat they will cheat to win the Senate before we start deciding the voting is pointless/rigged.

What concrete reason does anyone here have that justifies the hope that the system, as it currently exists, enables us to turn the ship around?

Or do this if you think cheating in elections is rampant and easy. Just be careful, getting convicted of a felony is going to take the decision to vote or not out of your hands (at least until Dems change the rules and felons get the right to vote).

Without it we have chaos. Sadly, we've already gotten a little taste of it this year. And sadly, a lot of corrupt leaders sat by and cheered it on. They're fine with our system and the rule of law failing.

Uh, Republicans picked up a number of seats in the House. Overperformed expectations for the Senate. Continue to have significant advantages in state governships and legislatures. Literally lost 1 election with a very divisive and not all that popular president (extremely popular with his supporters though) and you guys are acting like it's time to just throw in the towel and surrender on the whole voting thing because it's rigged. It's ridiculous.

They WANT to break you. Tney WANT to make you lose faith. It only makes it that much easier on them. We've got to fight for this republic. Vote. Volunteer for the process. Write your reps (fed and state) demanding improvement in election processes. If people will stand up in mass, we can turn this around.

The biggest problem with the republican party is to have the attitude of the OP and lay down. That has led us to this point. Resist it

1. We are 27T in debt and that's snowballing.
2. The entire education system teaches that America and capitalism sucks, and that is snowballing
3. Free speech/thought is dying on campus and that is snowballing.
4. The young are championing socialism and that is snowballing.
5. Identity politics as the norm is snowballing.
6. Corporate America is woke, and that is snowballing.
7. Large companies and big government are sleeping together.
8. The deep state has proven it can stop administrations it doesn't like and that is snowballing.
9. The media is now a deep-state propaganda outlet, and that is snowballing.
10. Big tech is the heart of our connected world and their run by the people above.
11. And I almost forgot, elections in the US can be rigged by the people above without consequence.
12. Half of the country is okay with all the above.

How's that for starters?

The data points you provide don't represent systemic hope but serve as a reminder of how many of us will still get rolled over by the system.

I understand exactly how you feel, and I thought about doing the same. But that's exactly what they want you to do. That's part of the reason why they cheated so broadly. They knew it would disincentivize Republican voters from voting and they thought they'd get away with it. Don't give in, don't let their plan stop you from voting!!!
