I'm glad they issued the subpoenas, but I don't understand why.

Based on recent history, MC doesn't have to respond, and hasn't to previous subpoenas. Now Dominion will just repeat the same story they've been using since November, 2020---"everything we have, and we use, is proprietary".

Over the last few years I've become increasingly more curious, most especially during Covid. Exactly what has County and City charter laws devolved into at this point?

Is anyone on here intimately familier with Dillons Rule and Cooley's Doctrine applied across the states. Especially in the case of Arizona.

Generally speaking, Dillon is the principal that cities and counties derive their power from the State and their power does not supercede state power accept where specifically outlined by State law. Cooley on the other hand is the doctrine of local autonomy of cities and/or counties.

But as a general historical rule, counties and cities have been designed as administrative units of a state.

I do think that Arizona has both Dillons rule and Cooley Doctrine counties and cities. I would assume at this point that Maricopa exists under Cooley Doctrine. But to what degree does this apply when it comes to elections, which are very specifically powers granted to states by the U.S. Constitution?

As someone that considers myself a constitutional originality, I'm finding the power that cities and counties are trying to exert on individuals and on states, to be out of bounds. Founding Fathers were concerned with state sovereignty and individual rights. They constructed the U.S. Constitution accordingly. And all state Constitutions were formed with the U.S. Constitution in mind.

So the idea that Maricopa County can ignore an elected state chamber in regards to elections, just seems bizarre and dangerous. They've seemingly determined this investigation an encroachment of their authority over election. But what law gives them authority over something granted to the state of Arizona to execute of govern?

This stuff needs to get clarified and settled.

Because if it's the case that cities and counties, especially heavily populated ones, have as much control over our lives and in this case, our votes, as is exerted here by places like Maricopa and Fulton. Than conservatives need to change course and go all in on winning control over County and City seats. And they need to go all in on "community" organizing in these areas. Because these areas are having an impact on entire states and in the case of national elections, our entire country.

the state senate commissioned an audit on one of their counties, which they have every right to do
the county fought against it with help from dem-funded attorneys from across the country
the county refused to provide certain requested data, which will certainly be a scope limitation documented in the upcoming audit report
the audit fieldwork has taken place and final report is being prepared

None of that is bunk. There was a real forensic audit that took place.

Twitter suspended accounts related to the audit.

What twitter, which is chock-full of smut and other dangerous and illegal activity that no one cares about, is doing for the DNC, the Biden campaign, and now the Biden administration - censoring hunter's laptop, censoring election fraud claims, censoring real scientific studies and discussion about covid treatments that actually work, censoring election integrity and audit accounts... this is some f*d up s*t.

That's what is bunk.

Justice Department puts states on notice about post-election audits and election law changes

The Justice Department on Wednesday put states and local officials on notice of their federal obligations when conducting post-election audits and dictating the rules for casting ballots.

The department released two new election guidance documents. They come as Arizona Republicans are in the midst of a controversial review of the 2020 results in the state's largest county, and while state GOP lawmakers across the country consider restrictive voting legislation.
"This document sets down a marker that says the Justice Department is concerned about this and we will be following this closely," a department official said Wednesday.

The DOJ audit memo addressed two main concerns: that election records are properly retained and preserved in accordance with civil rights law, and that audit procedures don't have the intent or effect of intimidating voters.

of course the politicized justice department is "concerned" that some states might try to make fraud more difficult in an effort to stop disenfranchising their voters who think know their votes don't matter.

**** Biden, and **** his weaponized DOJ....

Why are they going after Arizona and Georgia, but not Delaware?

In Delaware:

  • Want to vote absentee, provide an excuse or GTFO. and it must be one of six approved reasons for being able to not do so in person
  • Want to vote early? Tough. We will give you 10 days of early voting in 2022 when the change in law takes effect.
  • Photo ID to vote, better have it, or no vote for you
  • Absentee post marked by election day? Great, comes in after that date, tough ****, it is tossed. Better be at the polling place before they close at 8:00 pm election day
  • Want drop boxes, there are only 4 for the entire state and only 1 of those is 24/7

Now, while I think the above are still too lenient, the DOJ isn't going after them....why could that be? Because they aren't a red state or swing state. EFF the hologram

Maricopa election audit donor list released

But the federal government (for example releasing the 1/6 videos) and the Democratic Party leadership obfuscate, lie and hide information. Jerry Nadler, bag of Schiff, Swallwell, Pelosi immediately come to mind as horribly unethical in hiding information.

I find it ironic that a Maricopa County judge (in all likehihood a democrat) wants to identify individual donors who contributed to the groups that donated to the Arizona Senate Audit. I wonder if this same judge would be open to identifying the individual donors contributing to grants that supported "free and fair elections" in the county.
