.....in honor of Jerry Jeff Walker.

Pissin' in the wind, votin' for Joe Biden
Makin' the same mistakes, we swore we'd never make again
And we're pissin' in the wind, but it's blowing on all Americans
We're gonna sit and grin and tell our grandchildren

About the time I called this Guy it was four in the morning
Show me results of the election I was wondering
He just laughed and he said that more ballots are comin' down the hall
But all he wants to know is who in the hell is paying for it all

Pissin' in the wind, votin' for Joe Biden
Makin' the same mistakes, we swore we'd never make again
And we're pissin' in the wind, but it's blowing on all Americans
We're gonna sit and grin and tell our grandchildren

Now this Nunn called me up, it was eight in the morning
Wanted to know how in the world is Pennsylvania doin'
He just laughed and he said get together boy, and fall on by the house
Some Philadelphia buddies would like to interfere with ballot picking now

Pissin' in the wind, votin' for Joe Biden
Makin' the same mistakes, we swore we'd never make again
And we're pissin' in the wind, but it's blowing on all Americans
We're gonna sit and grin and tell our grandchildren

Now we worked and we suffered and struggled
Makin' our ballot till we got it right
Now we're waiting on the votes to come sneaking down the hall
Like that old time feeling
That the Democrats never played fair at all

Pissin' in the wind, votin' for Joe Biden
Makin' the same mistakes, we swore we'd never make again
And we're pissin' in the wind, but it's blowing on all Americans
We're gonna sit and grin and tell our grandchildren

That the answer my friend is just pissin' in the wind
The answer is pissin' in the sink

Somebody explain this to me.

Hillary got a total of 1,392,291 votes in Milwaukee, Wayne and Philadelphia County. Biden got 1,458,278. Biden only improved the vote total there by 4.7%. Trump, on the other hand, improved his vote total by 13%.

The next 3 largest counties in Wisconsin (Dane, Waukesha and Brown), Biden was up 20%, 23% and 31%. Trump went up 11%, 12% and 13%.

Now to Michigan. In counties surrounding Detroit and Grand Rapids (Washtenaw, Oakland, Macomb, Ottawa, Kent and Livingston), Biden went up 22%, 22%, 28%, 30%, 35% and 41%. Trump was up between 10 and 15% in each of these.

On to Pennsylvania. In Philadelphia County, Biden got 30k LESS votes than Hillary. But in surrounding counties, Bucks, Montgomery and Chester, he was up 19%, 22% and 25%. Trump went up 15% in Philadelphia, 12% in both Bucks and Montgomery and 9% in Chester.

They're on the roles, but did they "vote"? That's the question.
They're also on the rolls. But good point. All of these twitter links and talk of finding registered dead people. Even if someone did submit a vote for a dead person, it has to be validated by two bi partisan counters (at least). None of these links/articles state that their vote was actually tallied. I have two family members in other states that work on this election counting votes. I guarantee they'd scream holy heck if they thought fraud was afoot. But maybe the fraud just happens to be in what ended up being the battleground states.

How does a ballot counter know if the person is dead or not?
Do you really not know how ballots are verified? Data including, signatures, SSN and DL data is used for verification with voter rolls. Now, if a person dies prior to the election and someone else receives their ballot, they would have to know their ID information and their signature would have to match. I will concede that this may be possible, but certainly not on a premeditated scale many claim are happening. I will also concede many states do allow votes to be counted if a person dies after they submitted their ballot. That's true whether they are Democrat or Republican.
And not that I should have to state this, I have voted straight R ticket every year, minus this one, since I was of legal age. I don't like Biden, but like Trump less. I do want the R's to keep the Senate and hopefully gain in the House.

People would be a lot more open to listening to you if you didn't speak to them like they're idiots.
You shut your mouth...you! Seriously, you're absolutely right. The challenge with F16 is not to get caught up in the many posts (from both sides) insulting each other instead of just discussing the points. Plus, my wife says its my time of the month...so

In 2016, there were around the same amount of requests and around 5400 or so were returned. This year it appears that none of them have been received. It makes no sense.

Yup. Two votes coming from the Kool household. And I'd imagine there will be increased scrutiny this time.

Yeah I hope you guys are correct. I would imagine the threat of court packing would be enough to get Republicans out even without Trump at the head of the ballot.

Probably not. Military ballots are usually the last batch to come in and be counted. (sometimes they are just tossed because the lead is too big for it to matter)

Found an article about the outstanding vote from Gwinnet county today. Their military ballots will be processed last because of the 5pm deadline for receipt. They have about 1,000. So it looks like military votes have not been processed yet.

While Biden may very well beat Trump, there is zero wave for Biden. None of the radical **** the left wing Democrats want can be passed, and the Republicans will almost certainly own both the house and Senate in 2022. Not to mention the Supreme Court majority and the Democrats will need a new candidate in 2024.

This is the best loss ever.

Not only that but that 10,000 more people voted this year than last year. and that while trump improved the percentage of people who voted for him people liked Biden even more? Not only that but they loved Biden more than Hillary?

Quote:

The Michigan Secretary of State's Office says there were 77,483 spoiled ballots associated with the presidential election in Michigan as of Tuesday morning.

<snip>

"We do not have a breakdown on spoiled reasons, but the biggest thing to focus on is that spoiled does not mean rejected," Wimmer said. "In no instance with a spoiled ballot does that mean someone did not vote, unless they actively chose not to."

Wimmer said the major reasons for spoiled ballots are:
  • Printing errors discovered prior to the ballot reaching the voter. There were several thousand of those, spokesman Jake Rollow said. The ballot is spoiled and a new one is printed and issued to the voter, who is still able to vote.
  • The voter decided to change their vote or thinks they might have made a mistake after voting absentee. They go to their local clerk to spoil the ballot sent in earlier and fill out a new one.
  • The voter is alerted to a signature issue on the ballot by their clerk and when they go in to remedy the error, they elect to spoil the ballot and cast a new one.
  • The voter is concerned their ballot will not reach them or the clerk in time because of mail delays. They elect to go in person to their clerk's office, request to spoil their original ballot and receive a new one.

Quote:

Michigan is one of only a few states where voters who have sent in an absentee ballot can go to the clerk and retrieve it, up to the day before Election Day, spoil it, and fill out a new ballot. Reasons can vary but they include voters who change their minds about who they want to support and those who realize or suspect they made an error the first time around.

Ballots can also be rejected because of voter error. For example, ballots are rejected if a voter marks an intention to vote straight ticket and then votes for candidates from both major political parties. Those types of errors are not detected until officials start counting the ballots. Counting began for absentee ballots at 7 a.m. local time Tuesday morning and will begin for same-day ballots as soon as the polls close at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

I wonder how many states, if any, are completely finished counting.

I think a lot states have election provisions to continue counting mail-in ballots postmarked by election day. That could definitely take a while.
Yes. And there are also the military ballots and the provisional ballots to consider.

Yes, it is believable, because turnout is up in general. But here's the deal: In Milwaukee, Detroit and Philadelphia, Biden is only outperforming Hillary by 4.7%. Trump, on the other hand, is outperformed himself here by 13%. Somehow, in the next 3 largest counties in Wisconsin, Biden outperformed Hillary by 25%. Same thing in Michigan. Biden got 30k less votes in Philadelphia than Hillary did, but in the 3 counties around Philadelphia he outperforms her by 25%.

All of the focus is only Philadelphia right now, but it is probably the only big city in the country where Biden will have less votes than Hillary.
