I was trying to remember if any other Presidential candidate actually held campaign events on election day. Nothing comes to mind other than them going to vote and maybe a TV appearance or two. And then the ultimate victory and concession speeches.

But it is 2020, so I guess anything goes.

I'm not so sure they are scrambling. Bet they have a deal with certain MSM channels for free all day coverage of their campaign, all extremely positive...

I agree...but these moves make me think they're behind where they think they're supposed to be, and they are trying to inject a little boost to get their voters to the polls today...

I think Rep turnout is going to be so through the roof in Florida by 5pm that panic will already be setting in.

I would imagine FL to be the first one and they close at 7pm CST. It'll be called when Broward and Miami-Dade tallies their votes. if Biden has less than 35+ advantage in those counties, it's going to be a bloodbath for Basement Joe.

GCF won Broward and Miami-Dade by 35% and 30% respectively and still lost to Trump.

It's a waste of time for them though. Maybe sending Joe to a few places in Pennsylvania to ramble and slur for a few hours could get a few more people to vote, but sending his wife to Florida is odd. Very few people e en know their events are happening. Just a waste in my opinion.

Watching Fox and Desantis is on. Man I like him, hope he has a bigger future in the GOP.

What good is campaigning on the day of voting? Do they really think someone will tune in to coverage today and say "you know what, I think I'll vote for Biden now"?

The enthusiasm for Dens is NOT with Biden/Harris, it's their absolute HATE for Trump. This ED travel schedule will do little to get more Dens to the polls.

Don't forget Palm Beach County either. Broward seems to be the only county that has even remotely maintained a good lead for Biden. Miami/Dade and Palm Beach numbers still have Biden leading but not by near the margins needed to offset the rest of the state.

Also, Duval county in the north has been reliably blue in the past but is now more pink.

Two more things DeSantis was just on saying they will have a result tonight. They have been counting all along.

Second Rove was on. He was praising the Trump ground game as the best he's ever seen, ever.
