On my 4th point... I think he has a different take on what it means to look bad. Conventional politicians would hide from this or avoid the situation in the first place to protect their pride. As ridiculous and narcissist as he is, he'll still throw caution to the winds and let it rip, whatever "it" happens to be.

I didn't realize there were TWO unedited interviews till saw the posts above; watching now. This is great -- he shot her down in flames right at the start when she starts scolding "what just happened there" and Pence goes into his classic Spock level rebuttal--this is going to be good.

He called it going into this thing that she wouldn't be fair. He knew it, just like he knew going into the NBC Town Hall that Guthrie was going to go ape*****

The media hasn't treated him fairly from day 1 and has gotten ruder and more belligerent in the process to the point where they won't even let him finish a thought. This was his FU to Stahl and the "venerable" 60 Minutes.

When he says they are "fake news", the media takes it as an insult instead of looking deeper at themselves and asking "why is he saying that about us?". They don't realize that opinions and trust of them are lower than whale *****

Yes, have long said would do just that. Have a staffer make sure its fully recorded, or one in the audience, something.

One caveat: why did he release the full thing now --- by waiting till it aired, and then dropping it right after in rebuttal, you could show up every "Travyon edit" moment where they would inevitably occur. This way, it takes a little away from that. Or is it better he did it first?

It should be common knowledge that Biden and/or Harris was invited for interview by a "conservative" journalist and refused. The fact that we aren't sure if it happened is a problem with the campaign's messaging IMO. They should be screaming from the mountaintops that Trump is unafraid of the liberal media and will talk to anyone but Biden will only sit for an interview with partisan journalists. Why won't Biden go on Hannity? What is he hiding?

I also still think Trump should trade access for access. You want me on your primetime TV show fine, I want Biden on Hannity's prime time TV show.

A must watch interview just for that comment alone. She was berating Pence & Trump for just giving campaign speeches and not answering questions (repeated that line 4-7 times) and then Pence interrupts and says, i thank you for that speech you just gave. COLD BLOODED.

Damn, just finished that one. She even badgered Pence and accused him of not answering any questions. He asked what he he had not replied to when asked (there was one where got sidetracked) -- she even wasted a question on the fly on head moment. He pointed out she asked not one question about foreign policy or about Biden and Kamala refusal to answer about packing the court.

I wish we could see the unedited version of the Biden 60 minutes interview, so that people could see the dichotomy. It's already pretty blatant, but I think the difference in unprofessionalisms would be sooo embarrassing, that even an outfit as shameless as 60 minutes would feel ashamed of themselves. I mean, I don't know how that lady gets to work every morning with the gargantuan balls she somehow I guess fits in her car and wheelbarrows up the elevator to her desk. Voicing her displeasure and disappointment in Pence for "not answering her questions". I mean just, wow!

Not just that. That same exchange happened about 10 times in a row in that interview. So absurd.

lady came into the White House with a covid and mask-wearing agenda to get a hit piece episode of her show filmed. Pence goes, "YOU DIDN'T ASK ONE SINGLE QUESTION ABOUT FOREIGN POLICY". Bull's eye, Mr. VP. Well done.

I don't know - I'm thinking let it broadcast and then release the raw footage and then it's "Look at the bias, hatred and rudeness on behalf of 60 Minutes and CBS, not to mention their selective editing to deceive the American people".

Yeah, and I think that CBS is so arrogant that they will run their entire selectively edited piece with no changes regardless - the thought that the raw footage shows their hypocrisy won't even enter their woke minds.

Another interesting point: every time she talks over them she's intentionally spoiling the audio. She has no intention to use any audio of Trump or Pence on a roll.

She kept repeating questions because she was looking for a succinct one response that she could cut and control.

She's pissed at the end of the pence interview because she got almost nothing that conforms neatly to her intended narrative.

I just saw the interview. Leslie Srahl is a lightweight childlike reporter with the mind of a 12 year old girl at best. She seems like a lazy ignoramus that has had her head in the sand for the last 4 years.
